Fleetwood Mac would be unbelievable. I'm seeing then in Birmingham but I also saw them two tours back in Wembley Arena. They are a tour de force live. Spine tingling stuff from Stevie Nicks and one of the best guitarists I've ever seen in Buckingham. He is a monster.

Seems like she has dropped off the radar a bit..was she ever one the rumors page?!

There was quite a stretch where it was believed by quite a few on here that she would quite likely be the Sunday headliner. I think this was back in November/December, though. She spent quite a bit of time as a strong rumour and was downgraded about a month back, maybe. She's still there, though.

Understand that Kings of Leon aren't that popular and probably don't suit festivals but Biffy are incredible live. Seen them five times.

Aye tbf Biffy are sick live. Their Leeds 2013 headline slot was one of the best headline sets I've seen. It was the best time I've seen them by far, though, and was clearly a special occasion to them, though I suppose headlining Glasto would be too.

But they won't do it this year. Probably next year.

Reminds me of a dream I had where someone chopped my nob off with a rusty spoon

Give you KOL as they are souless live these days but don't agree with Biffy as they put their all in their sets and are very enjoyable to watch (obviously if you don't like that time of music fair enough but wouldn't put them in the sh*t category) :)

Oh yeah! Completely missed her on the list. Not my cup of tea personally, just wondered why all the talk had died down.

Based on the new info, my money's on Blur I think. No complaints there.

I love Blur but hope it's not them purely cause I'm already seeing them the week before haha. I'd much rather see them at Glasto than BST but I dunno if I could sell my BST ticket since it doesn't seem to be selling out...

Pray to the gods it's Bowie. I'll dress up as a different one of his alter-egos for every day of the festival

Totally agree we'll be seeing them 12th June but if they get announced for Glasto too we'll be there...seen them twice now in 2009 & 2013 they are just amazing

2009 set was the best, playing Oh Well was a total highlight for me :)

It doesn't matter if you are at the back they sound really good even in the MEN...I remember seeing Foos there in 2007 and we were as high up at the back as you could get but that gig was just the best!!

I'm getting really excited for my giggage pre-Glastonbury :)

its gotta be blur really hasn't it. Same thing happened in 2010 when U2 couldn't play.. Gorillaz get booked. This year possibly tried to get prince, fell through- blur get booked. Damien albarn= glastos contingency plan.

On the other hand...Fleetwood Mac have been saying for years that they'll do it. Maybe they finally cracked and thought 'fuck it let's just do it'.

Fascinated to know if his Purpleness fucked The Eavae off again.

if they're searching for a last minute replacement then it's gotta be hasn't it? can't think of any other reason that they'd leave it this late (the booking) and have to go for an act who themselves have ruled themselves out (assuming it's Blur, or even Mac)

What happened to Taylor Swift?

she is still rumoured for Pyramid and I STILL think she could end up headlininG if she's already in the running. It would be a travesty to have Florence over her.

Yes, especially if GFL have said we will match whatever Gidding is paying. Hmmmm

    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
