We need buckets full of that, I want to be knee deep in that all weekend

They would be a perfect Sunday night WOW or Sonic Headliner if Coldplay / Bring me the Horizon are arsing about on the main stages

I have convinced myself Radiohead will be playing Friday

I'm happy to go with that as I have a fiver on them at a big price

I definitely wouldn't mind a headliner away from the main stages, didn't get one last year, so a big name electro act is more than welcome

I've just watched Jamie XX in full from the festival last year, was anyone there? It looks fucking great. Can he come back and NOT clash with Caribou and Hot Chip this year

I was there lurking at the back. Great sunset but wasn't really paying that much attention tbf. He wasn't on for along if i remember rightly.

bicep self confirmed to me

Posted this a couple of pages ago when they self confirmed to me and said they'd be playing as many times as possible because I doubted they would be because they're playing Awakenings. Also posted Jackmaster confirmed he won't be playing.

Always good to have more than one though

I think I went for a nap that turned into a full on sleep so missed his set. Woke up with the sound of Loud Places drifting over from the Park to where I was in Pennards.

    • Yeah.   Revisit in 2 weeks, then 👀
    • Even with the recent heavy showers it's too early to tell what site conditions would have been like.  The very hot spell would have certainly dried things up considerably, and rain since then has been equalled by a stiff breeze so, without the benefit of actually walking the site, I'd guess ground conditions at present are about perfect.   If we had a festival to look forward to I think the weather watchers would have been at the "all to play for" stage at present.
    • Hush cancelled with a similar event now taking place at EartH and Cate Le Bon doing her own show, maybe others have rearranged gigs?
    • Yeah I find it strange, if they were just a silly act then they wouldn't be headlining the 3rd stage. The likes of vengaboys yes but they aren't doing their own sizeable arena dates.  That looks very weak for what they could actually get, but GC aren't playing 3rd main stage with The 02 and the Coop arena and in a same slot that KSE are. MIW aren't carrying those two dates either, neither are Turnstile and Parkway Drive tickets didn't play out. You gotta do better than Ghost, Blink and Deftones though.    I think you are a bit even if that is not the intention. I'm genuinely shocked they booked them for the avalanche and I think it'll be rammed out of the tent. While ADTR will obviously get a lot too, many Download attendees will had the chance to see them at Slam Dunk. I think 90s fest getting Scooter was class and while there would have been some Download crossover, the Slam Dunk crossover given acts you get on the avalanche will be a different level.
