Is there not another thread of his knocking about? I've not seen this one before.

In another unrelated thread I commented on the likelihood everybody nose will get played at some point due to kanye being on site

It really is dick head central at the pyramid come Saturday night, from what Ive seen on tv Pharrell looks like a human atmosphere vacuum when it comes to performing live, incredibly dull

Indeed, caught him live on TV a few times as I can leave or take some of his recorded stuff....but the whole show looks incredibly dull. At times it looks worse than a redcoats show.

Much better than previous shows I've seen, both in person and on TV. The fact he now bothers with staging is a massive help.

Being so preachy with the 'freedom' song when that song is being released to promote the new revenue stream from TTIP-keen Apple seemed a bit odd tho.

I also wonder how much Adidas payed for their top BBC advertising spot.

And that is without getting into the Baes stuff....

I don't think it was that bad.

A possible bold statement, but i enjoyed Pharrell, and his borderline DJ set, and scoping out of girls on the front row than the Who.

At least he tried to get the crowd involved, moved around a bit, and was entertaining to people who may not have been the biggest of fans.

But yes, skulking off for 5 mins to let girls dance wasn't the best, but i thought it was good fun, and well, we were at Glastonbury after all, a super fun place!

Agree with all of this. Pharrell's set was the surprise hit of the festival for me.

Seen him twice in the last couple of weeks, at Isle of Wight and Glasto. Did intend on being elsewhere this weekend, but ended up seeing most of his set, which was identical. Very good show, but I think IOW was actually better, despite the sound system on the Pyramid being much much better.

My biggest gripe was the fact that I felt like I was the lone person walking to the Park from Big Ground-ish against the huge relentless tide of humanity flooding to the Pyramid for Williams then West. Took me 50 minutes.

Worth it for Staples, Spiritualized, Hopkins though.

Blissful evening up there with what seemed like zero arsehats in attendance.

    • Skylink is 24 hours... But the skylink will drop you off at Pegasus business Park or EMA (East Midlands Airport) where you'll have to use the Download shuttle link, which isn't 24 hours. The last shuttle from the Download transport hub to EMA is 12:15 TrentBarton / Local bus info here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/download2026   Skylink Derby / Leicester / Loughborough timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/services/skylinkderby  Shuttle timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/userfiles/hotel.pdf If you miss the shuttle, which is very doubtful, you'll just have to find another way to EMA / Pegasus business park, maybe a taxi. You could even walk to EMA from the Download transport hub, wouldn't take too long. Just make sure you use the airport's 'circular path' instead of the dangerous roads.  I walk the circular path often, it's nice and easy. I would post instructions but I very much doubt you'll miss the shuttle, and if you do, it isn't hard to work out. The footpath is clearly signposted from directly opposite / across the road from where the download map has labelled "Pickup and Drop Off Exit."
    • So for Harry Styles it was actually a plastic bag that basically blocks the view of the front and back cameras. You can still use the phone screen. It's much easier than using lockers, especially for people leaving for the last train etc    I think it's basically reliant on the threat of security kicking you out if you start filming.
    • Hey, does anybody have a joining link for the WhatsApp group plz? I know the secret sets get posted there but have a new phone and number
