How can that sentence make sense when City of Delusion came out at the same time as Map of the Problematique and Take a Bow???

but it was track 9 on the album, and so therefor came later... maybe

although Knights Of Cydonia came after that and to write that off would be foolish

I don't think its as bad its made out here, certaintly nothing better than what was already released....but I think they all work in the context of the album and listening in order/together even Dead Inside fits.

Then you get to Revolt, and I can see why people hate it. I am not entirely sure I do and I feel bad about it as , the lyrics are amongst Muse's worse and its like they thought they need to pay tribute to the Killers! Odd! Really Odd!

Aftermath was entirely forgetable I think, just a bit all around meh.

Globalist, I liked the first two parts...then that third part, it was like they had given up bothering.

Drones: Worse thing Matt has ever done, I thought people were slightly exgerating about but nope complete shite.

I'd maybe put it ahead of the Resistance overall, cause I think I liked what they was trying up to Revolt and Mercy/Pyscho/Reapers are decent songs but I can't see it growing on me like The 2nd Law did (which I have above Resistance).

It won't put me off seeing them on tour :P

I'll see them on tour, even though the majority of stuff they'll play will be off the last 3 albums which I don't like + Starlight.

#BringBackMKUltra

nah they know T2L and The Resistance is shit

Animals seems to stick around and Madness has been played now and then but nothing else off T2L

Uprising is a staple and Resistance is played now and then but that's it off TR

They're playing more off the older albums, Apocalypse Please has become a staple :D

Listened to this album again

Still bad. 0/10. Probably the worst album any of my favourite band has ever produced.

I don't like a single track, this is just sooooooo bad

Dude you're really digging into it aren't you.

I've decided half of the tracks I thoroughly enjoy!

I'm a big Muse fan, but haven't listened to this album yet. Massively apprehensive about doing so. Think I'll wait till the weekend when the Mrs is out and sink a few beers and listen to it. Really didn't like Psycho on radio at all but quite enjoyed Dead Inside. Got a bad feeling about it and it's had some stinking reviews from fans, not just on here!

I just hate it so much, it's awful.

I'm not just being a hater, Muse are one of the best bands i've ever seen live and this album just feels like a massive joke that i'm not getting the punchline of. Is it deliberately meant to be this cringey and bad?

I really like it and I consider myself a big fan. But then I'll get told in not a real fan because I think showbiz is boring for about half the album and really don't see what origin of symmetry does to elevate it to such revered status above absolution (though the songs remind me of some very good times live on the 04-07 time period especially Wembley).

I'm also a conspiracy nut so this album resonates with me a bit! Though I have my suspicions about his Hollywood experience heavily influencing it!

I get the same but with BHAR, my least favourite album except for TR. People will probably bite my head off for Saying this but Map of the Problematique is the only song from that album that makes me want to listen To that album. The songs that everyone seems to love off that don't do much for me (Take a Bow and Assassin).
