****no moaning allowed here****

The weather was, on the whole, great and the organisers made massive improvements in dealing with the notoriously worst parts of the site when the rain hit. There seemed to be more random covered areas to shelter from sun/rain too which i thought was a great idea.

As ever, the attention to detail of the decoration was fab. I loved the hot air balloons in the Park, the Greenpeace polar bear, and the art works around Shangri-la. Theres some clever folk out there.

Drinking Thatchers cider was way more pleasant than the cider they've had in previous years, no gut rot for me!

Met some fab people, happy to be tickled by our duster, eat our pretend toast from the plastic toaster, make pretend phone calls from our plastic phone, and have their photo taken with our toy camera. Everyone truly joined in the silly fun of it all, so thanks if it was you we got!

The lads who pitched their tent in the middle of our group at Camp Badger were great fun, and thanks for being apologetic about it!

So, I had a wicked time, and pleased that my very dodgy knee held up to all the walking and dancing.

The art work this year was particularly good. I have probably over a hundred photos of pictures or signs or performing artists that amused me greatly. I finally got to play with the kazoo marching band, had some juggling lessons, made my own juggling balls, did some painting. Saw some acts that seemed so overwhelmed by the crowd they received that I was quite moved by it particularly Kate Tempest on Thursday at the Rum Shack.

I was really impressed by how the site coped with the mud, yes there was lots of it, but it recovered very quickly.

traffic out bound seemed ok, set off on the blue route at 2pm Sunday and got out of the one way hell hole at 2.35pm

lots of really nice people - In fact didn't really see any knobs - although I avoided the pyramid, other stage and dance area

yay for glasto

I'd like to thank my poncho for holding up! I don't like being wet and it did its job perfectly :)

Met some lovely people, a local in the Square Pie queue who always has a festival pie and was just lovely to chat to, the nice lady who gave me a tissue to clean my glasses as they dropped into the mud, the random bloke who walked through our camp and took a great photo of us, the stranger I was talking to at the Mandela bar during the rain.. The list goes on!

I also had a go on a tightrope and got about half way, alas that was the best I could do!

I really do think 2014 was on of my best

On the whole, they did a great job with the ground. Wood chip worked wonders and it looked like a lot of work had gone on where the entrance to The Park is, nowhere near as muddy as in past years.

Didn't queue for a drink or a toilet.

Met some really nice people, one of who gave me a cider for "being nice".

Was also nice to see the change to the wristband, heard stories of people making wristbands out of the "tails" cut from others bands. The void will stop that, shows someone is on the ball.

I haven't moaned about a single thing about the festival.

In fact, I have come back a happier person, I always do! It's such a stress-reliever and such an amazing place. No point getting upset at inconveniences, you're never going to have the 100% 'perfect' festival. Just roll with it.

Glastonbury has become as important as my 2-week holiday with the wife, in terms of time away from reality and to chill.

Great times had.

Mostly thanks to the crowd at the vodka jellies when the let me do ...dancefloor by the Arctic Monkeys. Huge amount of noise and loads of hugs and high fives after!

Great to see more 'heavy' acts such as Tallica, Royal Blood and Marmozets getting such praise!

Well done to the National Express guys for getting queues much better organised than last year too.

I had a very positive time - and I think many others did too. There seen to be fewer complaint threads on here than usual

The ways in which the festival is changing are becoming more obvious but often working well and the message is getting through to a new generation who will be back

I found a wallet , handed it to info point. Cv east toilets at top of hill. I was hoping I could hand it back personally as I found they guys number, a graphic designer from London. There were cards but no cash. I hope him and wallet were reunited, and that he didn't get robbed, as certainly would have ruined it for him

I had a brilliant time.

Loads of dancing, tasty food, friendly people, partying till dawn, amazing music, lost weight, got a tan, survived a thunderstorm whilst dancing under a poncho, learnt about memory resonance, had my own brain resonated by thunderous sub-bass, watched the pyramid stage rock-out whilst simultaneously spewing lights, lazers and beach-balls and had the best home-made ginger beer ever!

My smoked salmon wrap from the Dorset Smokery will go down as one of the nicest meals ever to be eaten. It was sheer perfection.

Also, managed to get camped in same spot as last year which was great as loved our pitch.

Finally, my friends from Germany who visited were perfect company and totally understood why I always go on about it to them.

Got an ace pitch right next to the lockups and lulu's cafe, and within 50 feet of toilets - on the other side of a hedge that meant no smell etc. lovely stuff!

My grande bouffe was amazing

The rhubarb n custard vodka I made was brill, I did have a pint of it and have somewhat forgotten Jurassic 5 though

Went with a first timer who bought so hugely into the whole thing that on his first morning he said he wanted to live there permanently (if we fit him with a spare liver)

Collapsible buckets, and their subsequent ability to provide you with a hairwash, are wonderful
