Im going with Queen, theyve just been doing shows, so will have an idea of what to play, and on fridays night Euro Millions Adam Lambart asked Mr Eavis if he could do Glastonbury, I rekon they will bump Florence, and put Queen in Subbing

It certainly won't be Queen/ A Lambert subbing Florence, that much is for certain

I wonder when we will find out, tomorrow early doors hopefully

My thoughts

Fleetwood Mac are out, they have a gig that night.

Blur are a possible

Coldplay are a possible

Prince is the dream replacement I suppose

Swift could do it

Most likely Flo will get bumped

Queen/Lambert outside chance?

Happy to have my mind changed.

Florence could not fill 150 minutes. The sit says a new headliner. Glastonbury set a precedent for booking replacements, rather than bumping up sub-headline bands.

All this suggests to me someone new. My guess it that she will have an extended sub slot, and a new act will be announced above her.

In all seriousness it would be a pretty damning (albeit maybe unintentional) statement not to bump Florence unless she has reasons not to step up. Remember Emily's words at the NME awards "she's not headlining but she could" - prophetic if you ask me.

I think the real issue is finding someone to fill 2.5 hours. Although it wouldn't take much shuffling to sort out I guess. Also in looking at options for a bump to the Pyramid I noticed Everything Everything have a criminally short set.

Edit: unable to use new twitter thing so hyperlinked

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
