The fact that you sat through that has amused me highly. Couldn't think of anything much worse. I really think you're barking up the wrong tree here. They knew Kanye wouldn't go down overly well, and whether or not you think Maradonas a legend or not, I don't think she'd be greatly received by the masses. Unless the majority is my sister. And a Glasto full of my sisters would not be fun....

And no, before anyone asks, no pictures.

Maradona was class

So did Madonna say she wasn't headlining or just that it wasn't mentioned .

It wasn't mentioned but as she wouldn't even talk about her tour coming up I think it's assumed she won't headline and spoil the stage show for the people that bought tickets to her tour.

Someone needs to tell him its not possible to "hit the ball too well" and not score, it makes no fecking sense and he says it every game!

How he still has a job I'll never know, full of absolute drivel!

Back on topic... I actually shed small tear of joy at the thought of Mr Rogers Nelson headlining - it has to happen in my lifetime! If it's Flo or Sheeran I'll kick off.

(Or I'll just be happy to have a couple more hours' wandering-while-getting-shitfaced time).

They discussed the school run.

She refused to give details of how the tour would look on the basis that Matt42 will tell everyone in advance what he thinks will happen and spoil it.

Apparently she reads eFests.

And she didn't speak very highly of you Monkey, due to your name associations with those Baggy4Benefits and BoneheadBraindead 'dudes'.

But i'm sure you're lovely.

So to summon up today:

Line up guess now 'leaked line up'

Shoo-bi-boobee-doo-wop, it's all around you. Talk about...

Matt42 dismissing entirely feasible pyramid clue, out of hand.

There's a bloke works down the chip shop, swears it's tomorrow.

Matt43 is born

Nodonna

More of the same tomorrow? OR IS TOMORROW THE DAY???!!!???

For the record, Warning by Green Day is my favourite pop album.

You must be 40ish Wooderson, i'm guessing.

I seem to recall weekender went on for about 15 minutes.

But i inbibed differently in those days.

38. And yeh, the full version is about 15 minutes long.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
