Hoping for Soni too! Not bothered about much of the DL line up so far given a few exceptions but still going for party in black camp and hope to see some new bands on the smaller stages.

Just checked the novotel which is right by the entrance and that's fully booked on the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th of July

All that means though is that they were planning to put an event on, which everyone expected.

Exactly, I'd expect it to be booked for more than 4 days if a festival was going to be on. Probably a 2 night residency for ac/dc

That was my point, they would book the hotels, it doesn't mean anything, I saw someone else say it meant that it was happening. It just means they are doing normal things in case, I bet they probably have a deal in place for a long time with those dates.

Id imagine all festivals do this as common practice.

Its a long planning process, you know festivals will be planning for 2016 already and beyond that.

I hope Soni is on again. I really enjoyed it last year. Metallica into Nirvana Defiled has to be the best end to a festival I ever had.

Possibility of Halestorm and Tremonti at Download then? Would love to see Breaking Benjamin too but I understand their singer is a bit of a fruitloop and scared of leaving his back garden. Anyone been to this festival? Looks fun.

The one I've seen has Royal Blood opening main stage, which right away sets the bullshit radar off.

The website currently says "Full lineup announced" with no lineup. Seems odd as I assume the lineup's nowhere near fully booked.
