Aw we normally have to wait until the festival for wg slots

Oh well they usually get about 3 names but I can see it being Catfish & The Bottleman, Peace and wolf Alice

Id be surprised if it was Catfish? The crowd last year for 1975 was way too big for the WG tent and it would be bigger for Catfish!

I mean in terms of crowd safety!

Perfect. Can just picture being in a sunny field, beer in hand watching these. Thanks for the recommendation of these guys, really enjoying them!

Likewise, great recommendation. Really enjoying these guys and will be keen to check 'em out come festival time!

Sian Evans unplugged (from Kosheen) on the Hell Stage, Thursday night. (On the lash with her last night)

Miissed that last year, saw Kosheen a couple months back, were excellent, listened to a bit of acostic stuff the next day and wished I'd gone to see her last year. Another chance for me then :)

Got tickets for Kosheen Jazz Cafe gig in September as well, looking forward.

I Am Kloot have self confirmed in an interview with a student online magazine:

"Have you got any other projects lined up after the albums been released and the tours finished?
Yeah. We’ve got some more festivals we’ll be doing. I think we’re Glastonbury again, which is great. This is our sixth appearance in twelve years. Every other year they seem to have us on in some way or another, so that’s quite nice. We’ve got a few festivals abroad as well and more stuffs coming in at the minute, so we’ll definitely be playing now until probably the end of September."

The article hasn't been dated but references the album which is out on Monday.

    • Lovely Brexit doc on bbc2 for anyone who wants to relive those golden years.
    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.
    • Can anyone share please as can’t access the app
    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
