WTF? Are you fucking with me, mister? You better not be fucking with be.

Motorhead at Glastonbury is my dream, and I will cry when I find out its not true

I will just hide now. I would love it too, can't really see it happening, but if you never talk about stuff it will never happen.

Sorry fella

I knew it my heart - you are forgiven.

I wonder what stage would have suited them, though. The Mandella stage, perhaps, but the bike would need some pedalling

For Lemmy, nothing less than the Pyramid.

With the bomber, and the whole thing!

That ages you! And me - didn't the bomber end up in a barn in North Norfolk about thirty years ago, I think? Last seen in Hammersmith.

The tragedy is that although its never going to happen, I genuinely think they would go down brilliantly. If Status Quo can draw a crowd, Motorhead certainly can.

Ah, Metallica have a song called One and I've never seen The One Show. We both used references that the other didn't get. Win

 well I don't watch the One show either but it's usually on while my family has tea. The theme tune is a choir singing one in the pattern I did in my post. It's awful.

War on Drugs? Admittedly I'm only halfway through their latest album, but they sound like a JP band to me.

I dont know where that came from. Isn't JP mainly made up of trend chasing bands?!?!?! Where as The Park is made up of Trend Setting/Mold breaking bands

From the look of twitter, Ellie Goulding may have self confirmed on the Chelsea Lately show in the US.

Excellent news, i thought she was great at Coachella and indeed in the JP in 2010 :)

From what I can see online, it doesn't look like she has self-confirmed. Interviewer was asking Ellie about her Coachella experience and mentioned that Glastonbury would be her (the interviewer's) ideal festival. Ellie just said that British festivals are messy and muddy, and that she preferred the heat.

In other news Sheema Mukherjee's guitarist has confirmed that she'll be playing "every day" at Glastonbury, but not whether that means all 5 days or just the 3 full days.

    • Lovely Brexit doc on bbc2 for anyone who wants to relive those golden years.
    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.
    • Can anyone share please as can’t access the app
    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
