Modestep on the main stage I reckon won't be as good as in the NME tent.

Odd move that! Not even really that big to do it.

Line up is still quite meh I think, will maybe think a Libertines day ticket nearer the time I guess.

Are Mastodon and Metallica really going to clash? Seems stupid that one.

Nah man, they confirmed from the start of their announcement that they wouldn't clash.

My annoying thing is stuff like Ash that I'd finally like to see and a few others, I probably wouldn't actually pay for them at separate gigs but it's a fair enough distance to go and gaps of nothing important to see are quite large.

Modern Baseball, The Smith Street Band, ASIWYFA, FIDLAR, The Gaslight Anthem and Drenge are highlights for me. Also Modestep, Feed The Rhino, Moose Blood, Turbowolf and Twin Atlantic are nice additions too. Good announcement but I'm a but disappointed by the lack of The Story So Far :(

Even though they should clash to split the crowds

There weren't that many metulz there when I last went. Happy to miss BMTH for Mastodon. Tidy line up now. I'm tempted to risk divorce and go. Is 5 festivals in a summer too much?

Nah it works well to entice some metallers in to have that top four of The Pit finish before Metallica. I don't imagine it would split the crowd that much if they put them on at the same time - Mastodon would just get a pitiful crowd.

Yeah I never understand this splitting the crowd lark. Surely having acts of different genres on the lower stages will mean those stages get bigger crowds than if they had smaller acts of the same genre on?

Obviously in this case that doesn't work, because there's no one on instead of Mastodon, but people often say they should put similar acts on at the same time to split the crowd.

Who cares anyway? Metallica won't get a worryingly big crowd.

JAN fancy a cry? I'm so annoyed there isn't any TSSF but Modern Baseball and Moosey B so that's good

Yeah :(

Also no Gnarwolves or Four Year Strong who'd thought would be playing too

Feed the rhino opening is big as fuck for them

I saw them in October in the small room in Corp and if that is anything to go by they'll smash it

The Story So Far looked silly on that big stage, need em in the pit

Yeah, seemed intimidated by it.
