Dan P Carter tweeted a photo of his stage written down with 2 names crossed out between Black Peaks and ASIWYFA. One looks like it's begins with an A but you can't really make them out. Hoping it's Arcane Roots.

I'm going to see them later this year and if I get a chance to talk to them afterwards I'll be sure to investigate

Think it's just vertical scribbles.

Edit: Just seen Vertical Scribbles are booked up over R+L so maybe not. ;)

Surprisingly good line up. Some real gems on there Parquet Courts/Fidlar/Skints.This has been the confirmation to go for a day ticket I've been waiting for.

Few things stand out to me though

-Gaslight Anthem strangely low (esp given where Alexisonfire are)

- Drenge are in the right spot for them imo, but seems so strange them playing 7 on Latitude's 2nd stage but 7th on R&L'S main

- Charli XCX's low billings at festivals has surprised me once again, I don't get why festivals aren't putting her higher given the sucess she's had

Asiwyfa and Charlie Xcx a are decent, hopeMelvin's got them playing Latitude as well. Isn't Isaiah Dreads Matt42's mate?

oui, I got word he was doing the one extra stage a while back and told scottie, which is why he was on the rumours page for a while.

Heard from him today as well, he's playing Glastonbury but stage and day is not confirmed yet.

Think gaslight should be 1 or 2 places up but there last album 'get hurt' kinda bombed big time. Think if that was moderately successful think they could of been about 3rd. There was hardly any promotion when released. Think must of heard them on absolute radio maybe 3 times at a push unlike when 45 came out it had quite abit of rotation

maybe it was him tempted to get his old band back together. Now that would be ace.

It still got to number 4 in the charts which is a fair bit higher than numerous bands playing above them could muster

Gaslight only 6th down with their recent two top five albums, whilst Alexisonfire are as high as 4th. LOL gr8 bantz m8.

That Libertines day is basically a carbon copy of The Libertines day in 2010.

It'd be better if Arcade Fire were headlining it.

Fair enough it did

But was probably got released on a quiet week with not much competition.

Also you go to gaslight gigs there's a lot of age difference as well. Starting from teens all way up to there 50s.

Which we're not gonna get many 50 yr olds going to the festival.

There's loads more of interest to me on the mainstage this year than last year.

But as has been said they should really have shuffled some of Maccs/Cribs/Gaslight around abit so Libs doesn't look as similar to 2010 as it does.

Swap Gaslight and Modestep and move Gaslight in between Alexisonfire and Royal Blood.

Not a bad announcement, but that one is such an odd placing. They were announced to play 6th in 2012 before Handwritten came out, which gained them a fair bit of recognition, so they've obviously gotten bigger since that announcement.

Good to see Palma Violets get a Main Stage spot. I thought 180 was a tad overhyped but they do have some very good songs, and it'd be nice to see them get bigger as a band, rather than just fizzling out like so many NME backed bands have done.
