  1. Chase and Status time has passed. They subbed in 2013 to Eminem and blew Eminem out the water but since then there stock has taken a dive. There's no way they headline now. They'd be about third down on mainstage now. Do alot of the younger crowd no many songs. They were big with teens and young adults from 2009-2015 but since then I don't think many A level students would know there stuff but they'd still go down well with the energy.
  2. Smashing Pumpkins are on tour in the states with Jane's Addiction. I wouldn't be surprised if they toured together in Europe in 2023 but can't see festivals.
  3. Sigur Ros Nick Cave and the Bad seeds The Cure No clue what's so ever but I'm taking a wild prediction
  4. I'm surprised R/L have never booked a dance act. I know there's Creamfields for that but I'm surprised they never booked someone like Calvin Harris during the height of EDM. On that note Swedish House Mafia are on tour? Would they be down with the kids?
  5. I'd piss myself if they're announced as Headliners for next year. This forum would just implode. N-Dubz has more of a chance than Nicki Minaj who I've seen suggested on here.
  6. Are you talking Kasabian or NDubz here? I'm pretty sure Kasabian have alot of credibility and can headline almost any festival and they can attract a young and older audience.
  7. I dunno about Boardmasters. I went in 2011 with The Klaxons and Fat Boy Slim headlining but I associate YNot with Lad Rock. Kasabian fits the bill.
  8. Abit expensive for a laugh and a meme People go watch Basshunter for a tenner in a run down club.
  9. They'll be playing at Butlins in a couple of years at these events they do.
  10. It's absolutely crazy. I don't know a single fan. I know a couple of people liked such and such a song by them but that's as far as it goes yet they've sold a shit load of tickets. They're more likely do Wireless but as shit as it sounds I wouldn't rule them out for as the demand is clearly there.
  11. I hate there music too. In fact I couldn't name a single song and was surprised when they announced an arena tour. Didn't think they were that big and was just a phase for two years but the tour sold out instantly and they had to add extra shows through phenomenal demand. Unfortunately if demand is there they'll be considered for festivals.
  12. I'm not even sure if Kasabian will do R/L. I could see them headlining Medium sized festivals like YNot and Boardmasters
  13. And alot of people suggesting Kasabian which most of there fan base are in there 30's or 40's. I've no idea how old a standard NDubz crowd are but I was about 16 when they came on the scene.
  14. Sounds about right but the demand must be there to sell multiple arena dates unfortunately. It wouldn't surprise me if they headline next year.
  15. Would NDubz be written off? Sold out a massive arena tour which is in the next couple of months. Any chance of them headlining? How would they go down you reckon?
  16. I don't think Foos are finished for one minute but can see them taking a break. Maybe four or five years. Can see Dave Grohl putting a solo album out in the next few years. Do some music which he couldn't really do with Foo Fighters. Probably work with Pat and Butch Vig.
  17. Yeah I haven't really heard anything about it but gave it a go and it's not that bad. Got quite a few decent tracks on there and one of the better albums of a popstar gone rock. Still think with her hits she could headline the 2nd headline stage. Always wanting more female artists and her LGBT thing will probably work well in her favour for promoters.
  18. It's Reading Festival not Download. They have different genres and more variety. I wouldn't even dream of her at Download. It be like a lamb to the slaughter.
  19. Pretty unlikely but could they go for Demi Lovato with her new rock album out? Might not be the most popular but it's something if they want a female fronted headliner and she's got Nita Strauss as her guitarist. She's got plenty of hits and she'll probably make them more rock to fit in with her album I suppose?
  20. Kasabian Prodigy Bombay Bicycle Club These are my early predictions for next year's headliners
  21. Status Quo Mott The Hoople Robert Plant The Stranglers Gary Numan Hawkwind Thin Lizzy The Sweet (Special Guest: Noddy Holder) This is the lineup Download should be aiming for. Celebrating British Rock. 😂
  22. The Mars Volta, Frank Turner (Tape Deck Heart in full), Idles
  23. Nice little stage consisting of Status Quo Mott The Hoople The Sweet Noddy Holder
  24. All these predictions and no one's included AlterBridge for the sub. It's the most obvious booking and position for 2023.
  25. Not been on here for quite a while but here goes nothing with my predictions I think a few poppy acts would do down well for instance having say Busted followed By Avril Lavigne on a second stage as long as there's some metal on the main stage as they were the sort of bands or singers some people listened to when they were eight or nine and developed there taste later on and got into heavier and mature music but Have alot of fond memories and want abit of Nostalgia again at 28 years old and let them selves lose again for a couple of hours and you can't tell me there won't be people singing along to Year 3000, What i go to school for or Airhostess?
