nah i don't think they've really done enough to justify moving up too much. they've released a new album, but last time they played was off the back off a much hyped reunion, so it kind of evens out. wouldn't be surprised to see them booked in the same position (if they are booked), and hopefully not on the main stage

I would be surprised if they aren't booked, and surprised they aren't pushed up at least one slot, as long as they aren't on the mainstage, they are really great live and the mainstage in the daylight just wouldn't be the same

Could probably headline FR or stay high up in the NME stage but I don't think they've really advanced since 2011 at all. Plus, I know they've got some fans on here but I don't think that translates well to your average R+L goer either.

In my opinion, DFA1979 & Cribs are very likley to do that, War On Drugs less so. I think Drenge or Fidlar might take the other headline slot

Plus they've got quite a strong fanbase going for them (probably) within the R+L clientele so it's not really that unlikely they'll give Peace a chance.

Not sure, they played behind a 2manydjs closing set and The Streets on their last ever tour the last time off the back of one album, so why not step up to headliner or behind a closing act this time

Peace were seriously regarded so highly? How the hell did that happen? They're barely a big band. It'd be like throwing someone like the Palma Violets into those slots as well.

They really aren't, even a bit. I'm actually a massive fan of Peace but I'd be pretty disappointed if they were announced as an NME headliner, not very exciting really.

Yeah I think it'd be a boring booking, and not a very big one, but I still think they could do it.

Could see them headlining with a closing set from Knife Party afterwards, or something like that.

Interpol, Peace/Knife Party and Rudimental as NME headliners or something, maybe.

I think that Peace could pull off headlining the NME, they're a popular band and would go down well opposite Metallica (for example) I think. Put a strong sub under them such as Rudimental and it would be fine.

They got a HUGE crowd on the mainstage last year. I think it was after Royal Blood, the NME tent emptied and literally everyone ran over to see Peace.

Smaller than Bombay, I doubt Peace could do an Earls Court show.. (Well they couldn't now but thats besides the point ).

Guess it depends on how well FR think their new album will do, if they stayed the same size, they would be a relatively shit booking to headline the NME.

Usually NME headliners are sized too small for a third down but could be considered too big if booked fourth down mainstage.

Peace don't fit that catagory, think we're overestimating them a bit

I think they could be a good NME sub under a much bigger act.
