Didn't Melvin say that one of the headliners had a top 10 album in 2014 chart?Probably one of two (Mumford OR Libs) will headline, but not both i think. The only big bands (probably touring in aug 2015) that had an album in the top 10 are Linkin Park, Kasabian and Coldplay

KOL, Black Keys and a few others, but we should probably dismiss it as bullshit now, otherwise we'll continue going round in the same circles.

So if they're playing Glasto, TITP and R&L no way they're headlining at R&L. Either that they're not playing one of those festivals or they're subbing

I think headliner at R&L and sub/2nd stage headliner at either Glasto or T, can't see them doing all three. In my eyes R&L and T are is most likley combo, plus a few European festivals.

heck they might of even been trying to black keys but IOW ended up getting them, you never know.

He said the band were booked and all that was left to do was decide what day they wanted to play. Seems a bit specific to be an Eavis-esque claim that a band is booked when in reality they're only in talks.

Except the only one that is likely is Linkin Park

If they don't headline at the other festivals they won't headline R&L, even then FR would be cautious as The Libertines aren't a strong headliner

chances of libs doing what arctics did last year and headlining both T and R&L?

Except Arctic Monkeys are one of the most popular bands now and The Libertines are not

Yeah I think it'd be a boring booking, and not a very big one, but I still think they could do it.

Could see them headlining with a closing set from Knife Party afterwards, or something like that.

Interpol, Peace/Knife Party and Rudimental as NME headliners or something, maybe.

Haven't seen Interpol mentioned so far but i can see them being on the bill... 2007 then 2011 am i right? so would fit the pattern with 2015
