Possible he could be third and Jamie T is sub or something

Jamie T can't sub surely.

What the fuck he played the O2? Was it on the arena tour he did?

Yes, however... http://static1.squarespace.com/static/51b8a144e4b0000660671a89/t/530127e7e4b07a6f64064029/1392584696649/Frank+Turner+@+The+London+o2+12.02.14-362.jpg

IF their next album gets them momentum again after New Machine was disappointing, then yeah I think they are, it was rammed in 2013, and electronic music only continues to grow. Would probably need a strong crossover act to sub them though, and is there really anybody out there big enough to make the transition to open air whilst still putting on a good show?

Could be anyone. Disclosure, Kendrick Lamar, anyone non-indie/rock really.

Apologies on behalf of all teenagers for Bastille ending up playing the main stage at Reading.

Also have people pretty much ruled out the Maccabees?

Nope, I think they'll be there. Have said themselves they're playing "most festivals this year" following release of new album.

I'm gonna sound like a right invalid here but

is it possible that NME stage will have 2 headliners on each day?

a dance headliner (acting as a ''closing set'') and your standard nme catfish and the bottlemen malarchy

sounds outrageous I know

but might go down well I reckon

I mean that's sort of what they did last year for Saturday (BBC/Nero) and Sunday (1975/Disclosure) so could be.

Probably not every day, but could happen. Like last year they had Nero play after Bombay. Could see something like Peace below Rebel whatever with both classed as headliners.

I know c&s, who the fuck are the others? Sound like mid card 1extra acts...

Seems like they're blatantly trying to save money with that booking.

Rage did some politically motivated rock in the 90's but gave up music and became full-time rich privileged people.

Except the drummer. He's cool.

Lets hope Rebel Sound are closing and that a proper NME headliner has been booked.

People seemed to be ruling them out for 3rd, which is where I'd put them, where do you reckon?

is it the NME or Dance Stage rebel sound are headlining I'm interested to see them, and what headliner do you think it will clash with?

Everyone seems to think R1/NME stage, but all I can see is people saying their headlining the 'Radio 1' stage, which could also mean the dance stage, a far more appropriate place for them in my opinion.

I remember hearing Pretty Vicious on XFM and their reckoning they could be a big hype soon, I posted in the glastonbury forum somewhere about them, didn't expect them to be in a main announcement, but they sounded good

Just listened, don't think they sound particularly interesting. Like Jake Bugg shouting a bit

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
