Maybe I am being thick, but how come IOW get to book the Roses before Glastonbury could get them? Granted they have no new stuff but they would have been great. Sorry if this has already been brought up. 2014 already been mentioned but you know what they are like.

If Eavii can't afford them then no chance of the stones never mind Cliff!

Am I the only one who think muse will be somewhere next year? They've just had an album out, and to not have done a single UK festival with it would be unusual considering what a safe booking they are, and that they've become a pretty big festival staple. Won't be T, IoW, R+L or Glasto so I reckon they'll be at V next year with Lady Gaga

Theyre still due to release an album next year, just mixed reports on when itll be released. If its in the first half of the year and touring then theres nothing stopping them.

I highly doubt theyd do a one-off show at glastonbury as some people seem to think.

How about this? I reckon New Order will play but I'm not sure where because I think all those Other headliners and Pyramid subs will be there. Maybe swap them in for Kraftwerk. Portishead on West Holts as well, possibly.

The Thought of 3 stage headliners clashing on the Friday is killing me, especially with two who i love to pieces, and one who i'd love to see.

Saturday's clashes would be hideous too!

Whereas the all too familiar picture of no one i particularly want to see, slots in on Sunday... Boo!

I do think Frank Turner will headline JPT, but i have black keys subbing in my head.

'nothing stopping them' is enough to not rule them out, new album is enough to consider them. I doubt they will play though, sounds like theyre relaxing with this album so cant seeing them booking a tour until its all done, which will probably be after the headliners are all booked.

Here's the rumours from 9th December 2010. The headliners are all there, but none of them confirmed. Maybe it's because of the gap that news seems really slow this year, but we're not really any more in the dark this time than we were 2 years ago (except for U2)

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
