The first year we went I spent 18 hours redialing..

You sound like the sort of person who sits infront of the stage with a big flag in your big chair. deal with it. and wait for the re sale.

because People who had already secured tickets, were getting back on to the site, and buying in bulk for others, I didnt have that opportunity. Thats a sham and is cheating. 4 tickets per person, it was in fact as many as you wanted if you had been able to access it. This should not have been allowed.

I am digusted and very very very angry, Eavis needs to respond to the fraud that has happened this morning.

Just to add to that, once the page came up and reg numbers were entered and payments made, many were pressing back buttons and re-entering reg numbers for friends etc, and repeating the whole process, I heard one guy claiming that he processed about 40 friends reg numbers whilst he was in the checkout pages simply going back and forth.

Disgusted, to not even be able to get to the actual sale website is not acceptable. I hold you Mr Eavis totally responsible for this shambles.

I want an apology, and I want answers Eavis

Oh shut up! See dealt with approx 10 ticket sales per second. Not that bad really. The luck of the draw and the luck of your internet connection! By the fact See managed to do this, I say it was a success.

I managed to buy 27 tickets in 5 transactions, so the site was working fine.

Didn't win the ticket lottery this time, just the way it goes.

Well done or bad luck to everyone.

Only problem I have, is See letting people keep going back to the buying page to buy as many tickets (30+) as possible once they got through the first time.

C'est la vie.

but if you'd still lost out if there was that system, would you feel any happier about having lost out? I doubt it.

Sadly, some have to lose out. This year it might be your turn. (that sounds harsh, don't mean it to - it's just a fact).

I trusted a random to get me tickets, haven't had a confirmation email as yet, but just think that I had no chance without them and placed my trust. Possibly misplaced, but thats the way it goes.

Fingers crossed.

And get rid of the troll Efestivals please?

Yeh exactly, this is what has made me a little bitter. Therefore it's not about being in a queue, and it's not a fair system. If See hadn't of allowed this I would have no problem and just accept I couldn't get a ticket, but when you know people have only had to press the back button to fill out the form again, it makes you a little angry at how the whole thing works. Ah well, re sale it is for me!

If people had got into the queue before me, then it would be my own fault for not getting there earlier. Harsh is being kicked out of a queue 30 times, and reading tweets from people who didn't get on 'till eleven and only had to queue for 5 minutes. My mate had the queue page from just after nine, and still nothing.

yeah, but if there was that perfect queuing system, everyone would join the queue in the same second - and some would believe they couldn't have been beaten to it, and would still be unhappy.

Ultimately, the unhappiness comes from the losing out, and not from why a person has lost out.

As I keep pointing out, some were always going to lose out. That's just how it is, unfortunately.
