I have and had tickets every year i wanted to go- including the 2007 quickest sale; all our group have also done well, some via the last resale right at the last minute; There is still chance to get your tickets so don't give up, but obviously if there is more demand than tickets SOMEONE loses out - no perfect system; If I did lose out any year, i would look at it as

fair play and although i would be disappointed i would go to an alternative fest from the hundreds on offer for a change. Do not blame Eavis, nor seetickets for what has become the most popular and oversubscribed festival ever.

For what its worth -I Went to the Ryder cup having got tickets via their seeticket organised draw - only 2 tickets per person allowed if successful , and they used stricter security than glastonbury - Pictures needed on registration for passes, and they had metal detectors, x ray machines for bags and body searches on gate.

Perhaps seetickets could learn from this and make it a random selection of registered applicants - however this will still people unhappy, so why change. The traditional sunday scramble is a lottery and no different to a random draw. Albeit some will cry fowl that some connections were better than others.

If it was eight per session I assume this would obviously affect the people who were going back to the order page to get more tickets but would it affect you if you managed to get three booking pages up seperately at the same time?

Yes, it would. Even if you've got the booking page up, you still need to be able to access the server to submit the form. Don't forget that there are three steps to booking -- enter reg details; confirm reg details; enter payment info.

The only way you could gain an advantage, I guess, would be to get all the tabs to the stage where you've entered the card details and then submit each in quick succession.

Er, no. It's deffo the why, or the not understanding why. I get your point, finite tickets, etc, but, as I keep pointing out, I was beaten to it by people who I had beaten to it, if you see what I mean. You shouldn't get kicked out of a queue once you are told that you are in one (about 30 times, did I mention that), and you shouldn't be able to barge into a queue near the start once you have already been served. I really don't get why anyone can't see why it is this that is causing people to cry "flawed". It's not just "boo-hoo I didn't get a ticket". If I hadn't got through to the queue, I would just be thinking "tough shit". I'm not blaming ME by the way. He's a Dairy Farmer, not a Software Engineer.
