BEST BREAKFASTS ?

Guest swede

Im not taking any food with me this year because I felt it was a waste last year because of all the great places to eat. I did my own breakfast round my camp last year but dont even want to do that this year, so what are the best places to get a good breakfast.

There was a good place opposite the Orange Chill n' Charge tent that did goos bacon & sausage butties and the like.

The Tea & Toast caravan in the Park was also very good and reasonable (mmmm organic honey).

Didn't venture into the Greenfields last year but have been told since that they food is excellent there so will be trying that this time round.

For me the best breakfasts are up in the Green Fields. Personally I like Henry's Beard and the Buddhafields Cafe but there are many other good places mostly vegetarian though ...

Food up in GF is best on site imo. Go and find out for yourself ! :P

gorgeous food there aye but as a poor student (please, no sniggering) i can't afford three meals a day of festival vendor's ware.

i always find a tin of sausage and beans and a can of relentless set me up for the day nicely.

that said, last year i did go to the stall mentioned by Runner and it was excellent. Assuming we're talking about the same one.

and the GF food is all great.

I remember one of the mexican places in Babylon used to do a Mexican Breakfast which was ace.

Refried beans spread on a paper plate, then tortilla chips pushed in, a fried egg on top, then smothered with salsa, grated cheese and soured cream.

Used to take our own food, last year we took some but ended up eating in greenfields area, lots of choice,i seem to remember having a real good vege breakfast from some place to the left of the Greenpiece place, bought the beakfast and had it in the coffee place oposit Greenpiece area sitting on the log seats outside...Very nice and reasonable value as well. Don't buy from the burger vans ect near the Pyramid area, its dreadfull and a rip off. Will take some food this year but mainly munchies for late night snack..Pot noodles ect.

Oh !! and dont buy from the "I Love Sausage" man...lets see if we can bankrupt him :P:P:P:P

I eat out during the day but still need a few strong coffees and a bit of breakfast to get me started.

Best investment I ever made was a little Gelert toaster to go on top of a gas burner.

It folds flat, weighs virtually nothing and takes up little space. And when you get a toast factory going everyone loves it. Toast and maramalde, toast and Marmite. We even had toast and home made smoked mackerel pate last year.
