CDs for the car

Right. It proper starts now. We've been successful this morning so I can at last start doing some exploratory work on the multitude of bands playing this year.  And whilst the spotify Playlist is a great tool, I want to hear tracks in their proper context so I want to make a pile of CDs to listen to in the car.

Any chance you guys can make suggestions so I can begin my collection?

Yeah would be a great idea but my car stereo hasn't got an aux in socket. I have tried a fm transmitter (admittedly just a cheap one off ebay) and the quality was useless.

Haven't got a car, or CD's, but I do have a 7 and a half hour spotify playlist of songs that remind me of Glastonbury to keep me occupied on the way there.

What was up with the quality? One of the things I found with mine is that if you turn your phone's volume to full whack it distorts the sound. If you haven't tried it already, try knocking your phone volume down a couple of notches and compensate with the stereo volume.

Yeah tried that but still got a frustrating whistling sound in the background. Can I ask which one you see quark?

It's a good point, but everyone knows Bat Out Of Hell comes after Queen's Greatest Hits.
