Hey guys

Not sure if I missed a thread or not, been ages since I've posted here. A big part of the build up for me is watching the Glastonbury Webcam.

I was just wandering when the webcams are gonna be starting up again, or if there are any dotted about on the internet? I have checked but there all out of date.

I'm pretty sure BBC have said they will be opening it up again soon and that there is improvements

I think perhaps someone on here sent them a tweet or DM or something and they responded saying there was improvements.

I think glasto-worker is correct, that's all they said. However they say the old cam isn't coming back and that exciting things are coming, I'm taking that as a pretty strong indicator that a better one is on the way.

Still I'm sure we they said something similar a few years ago and all that turned up was a new website that nobody wanted with the same old crappy webcam!

R.I.P ten year old cam. You kept me in daily anticipation for many years.

Hope the new cam screenshots are HD and bigger that the example above and show the whole valley - not just sections of it.

Still got the screenshot gadget on my desktop though I doubt if this will work with the new system.

Jizzing myself with excitement....

I'd be very surprised if it's exactly the same url. The old cam had three positions, this looks to be a much wider one, so there won't be a Jp, Greenfields and Pyramid URL.

Good point, unless they have 3 wider cams all together? :D (Does seem to be only one slot on the case though)
