Albums of the month

Thought I'd get this up and running again...

Same rules as 2025's thread but I figured I'd not date this one just so it can remain an ongoing thing - post your 1st, 2nd and 3rd favourite albums of the previous month by the 2nd Thursday of the following month (so deadline for January's submissions is 23:59pm on the 12th Feb for example).

Hopefully this gives plenty of time to listen to any late month releases.

I will then compile the results each month for our collective favourite albums of that month (I promise not to lose track of it as much this year and remember to post the results, even if I haven't had time to listen to everything and review😂)

1. The Cribs - Selling A Vibe

2. Dry Cleaning - Secret Love

Hold the phone. Didn't realise that the new one from Yumi Zouma came out on Friday.

Not the greatest January for me, but not gone out my way to find anything new. Out of the 3 I've listened to, I'd go:

1 - A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb

2 - Dry Cleaning - Secret Love

3 - The Cribs - Selling A Vibe

I'm terrible at this - start January off all keen and involved in threads like this, new music and up and coming bands, and then tail off during the year as I gradually get worn down. There's a reason my AOTY lists tend to draw really heavily from the first half of the year 🤣
