It was only busy at the park because it was purposefully put on at 1pm lol

 

That APE day was one of the worst sold (which is saying something!). There is not a chance it was 90% sold out even after 1000s of freebies were given out - possibly even over 10,000 i reckon! Were we in the same park ffs 😂

 

Some APE acts are the size of pyramid sub or other headliner sure - but there's plenty who aren't even close to that who do it as well!

 

Jamie XX who did APE previously and near sold out his Lido day did Woodsies, i cannot see any logical argument that BCS is bigger than Jamie XX.

 

That 2nd album was 100% a flop as well, hardly kept making him accelerate with some absolutely shite singles on it. I like the guy but he's clearly not going to be a high up pick for a slot like West Holts headline - so many better choices about!

I didn’t go to APE so not going to comment on that.

You can use Jamie XX as a yardstick, but also Overmono, who headlined WH. There’s not a lot between them really.

I don't feel like it really made him bigger though - although looking at spotify it makes up a lot of his top songs now somehow! The still riding song is horrendous

 

Overmono subbed C&S APE, so yeah clearly BCS is fine on WH. Naff booking thankfully plenty of other options!

Zara Larsson got to be higher up with recent billings I think, on some weird comeback off the back of tiktok. Same with EsDeeKid really.

 

Not really any headliners exciting me much honestly - but can appreciate its generally a good mix of names. I'd expect at least 1 proper dance name based on recent years, the xx are like 1/2 of one maybe, as are tame impala.
