That would be fantastic - love the new album, and they were great at EOTar last year.

Also agree with the love for the new Geese album. 99% certain I’m going to get a ticket to this.

Nation of Language play Razzmatazz soon and it's not yet sold out. So I really hope they get announced later for Primavera Sound. The new album is an album of the year for me.

I got two tickets with a friend, and although we're convinced its a stacked lineup and likely one of the best, we'll be selling our tickets as its just looking a bit too expensive for next year. So if anyone is interested do PM as it'll be less than whatever eventual FV is!

Yes I’m feeling slightly queasy looking at accommodation costs , then flights on top .
But then I think well why not 😂 As a veteran of festivals since 1990 I’m not sure how many big festivals I have left in me 😁

Im very much the same, early 90s. Primavera is the last on my bucket list of European festivals I want to do.

Hotels are steep, we've managed to get a basic (very basic) one near la rambla for £800 for 7 nights. In comparison I got a nice hotel in Budapest for 7 nights at £297, during Sziget massive difference.

But with the headliners, its either next year or never.

For people looking at current hostels/hotels etc, try & book one that you can cancel at a later date as more will become available, & cheaper than a fair few out there at the moment.  Worse case you keep the one you've booked

for my taste and sense of music, on the poster Slowdive are not where they ought to be. they should be much higher.  so maybe they are the Wednesday Headliner?

Definitely possible. But I think a more upbeat/energetic name is needed for the Wednesday, given the unwashed masses that show up. PSB, Phoenix, and Caribou were good for this in prior years.

Agree.

It’s a bit odd not to disclose who it is given that obviously they are already booked.

I say this as a Slowdive fan but really they are not a pull at this point. They have toured relentlessly for the past 2 years, I can't imagine there are that many people who have not seen them.

I might be alone lol but I haven’t seen slowdive for their last tour and I loved their album

they played Brighton but I was soooo sure they would be on the line up of PS last year I didn’t buy a ticket

and then it sold out

im quite excited if I can see them next June (if no clash 😂)

Same boat here. I've wanted to see them for years but it just hasn't happened somehow.

I've just gotten to the end of the poster and I have almost 50 names I want to see or need to check in more detail.

If I haven't missed anything, there's no j-pop on the poster (first time in the post-covid era). It's a shame, these were constantly highlights of their respective editions.
