350 euros plus fees is not gonna do many tickets for this lineup and there is no way it sells out. With the revolut discount its still 359 euros after fees or circa £314

locals priced out

accomodation stupid prices

only reasonable uk flights left are from london

Cuitat is going to need to be incredible to move the needle

the cure day tickets likely sell out when released, i’ll grant that

at least getting on a tram will be easy!

The Cure have announced quite a few new shows and festivals the last few days. I expect more to come also .

Could impact the demand if it’s easier and cheaper to see them elsewhere.

Anyone who claims to know how ticket sales have gone is talking out their backside!

There have been many events recently where logic suggest they would sell slowly and yet, tickets have flown out the door.
We will get to find out how sales are going in time.

The only thing I noted so far was there was virtually no queue for the fan sale , and they were still available late into the day . No idea if this indicates anything 🤷‍♂️

Lola Young was supposed to play Milan on May 29th and the venue's website lists that show as cancelled. Doubt she's appearing at PS a week later.

If that's the case, I agree, she is most likely out. Hope she gets better soon and will come next year. I saw her this summer, and it was really fun.

just randomly checked the websites of the German venues she was supposed to play (Cologne, Berlin, Munich) - those shows are listed as "cancelled" as well. really curious to see, whether PS will still list her on the line up with the day splits, considering all of her forthcoming dates seem to be scrapped.

They could sidestep it with a small name but if it's this obvious then they can't for someone who is high up the poster.

She won't be on the day splits.

Tori Amos has a tour ending on May 30 with no Spanish dates. Could be a replacement act...

Would be a great addition, but it really doesn't cater to the same audience Lola Young caters to.

I think that Primavera has enought time to shuffle the cards the way they want to (i.e. suppose that Wet Leg were expected to play headiner at Cupra/Amazon; promote them to early Mordor and find a zoomer-friendly lo-fi bedroom pop name to play in a headliner spot on Cupra/Amazon).

That said, it would be odd if they changed Lola Young for a name that targets a different segment: you would have a lot of criticism from the fans that already bought the tickets.

Totally understand what you are saying. Just want to point out that imo Wet Leg - after playing Cupra to an audience bursting all over the place this year - definitely have to play Mordor next year, no matter if Lola Young is there or not.

I meant at a later date.

Personally I think it would be acceptable to say that LY has dropped out when they announce day splits this month and that they are working on replacements. Then add them later...and by then everyone has forgotten about LY and they don't have to be like-for-like.

Also think Saint Etienne could be added later too who have a new final record out.

Either Mordor or Amazon Music for sure. Sadly the same probably applies to Little Simz.

Funnily enough the only time Tori Amos played Primavera, she was a replacement for Eels, which aren't very similar either.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds tour starts on 10th June and there are no Spanish dates. Would be strange to add them to the Primavera line-up late though. Maybe they're at Mad Cool

Well technically, there were Spanish dates: Barcelona & Madrid in 2024, so could be just that.

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
