If the guest is a high-security person, then it makes sense that they didn’t put down a “guest speaker” slot on the line up.  In the same way that there was no TBA listed for Fred Again at Strummerville last year.

First timer at the festival and got great advice on here a few weeks ago regarding our caravan.

 

Anyway, my wife would love to see Myles Smith on Woodsies on afterwards but not too fussed about Lorde. Any thoughts on how would you play it in terms of getting in?

Wait till Lorde finishes - then there'll be a mass exodus and you'll get in quite easily after that I think.

More likely he pops up as a guest with someone - though no idea if he's mates with e.g. The 1975 or someone like Scissor Sisters is more likely.

Still maintain Robbie would be a grand option as headliner or legend depending on the season.

 

Not a huge Capaldi fan musically by any stretch, but hope he smashes it out of the park. Wonder if The 1975 had any sway in that too - they are mates, by all accounts.

Steady-ish stream of arrivals now and the tent has a circle of folk waiting - but still no need to worry.  Field is still largely empty

What do we reckon Lorde'll play? It's only a 45min set. I have a feeling it's gonna be very heavy on the new album seeing as it came out today, might even be doing in full and nothing else, maybe finishing with a hit like Green Light or Ribs
