For anybody on the fence between those two acts: the main focus of each set will be on their respective newest albums, so just pick whichever you liked best to ensure you'll hear all those album cuts that you won't be guaranteed in the future.

I’m liking Alligator Bites…

But I also like Brat

WH may be the deciding factor

It's a tough choice, alright.  Both seem to be at the top of their game, WH tends to be better atmosphere than Other for headline sets but I've seen a few cracking headline sets there where I emerge at the end like a kid coming out of the cinema on a summer afternoon and instead of being shocked by the reality of the bright sunny world I'm stood in landfill.

What do we think… will Doechii have a full band like on Tiny Desk, or with a DJ like at the AT&T in Block Party?

At&t show was for sporting. And does it matter that much. Considering lots of her festival slots are high as closing acts and such a band is prob in contention. How about checking what she was doing before all of ya'll heard of her.

Only heard Doechi for the first time tale end of last year.  Almost certainly my Saturday night headliner pick now

I'm an old git, heard one tune and thought "wow", looks like she'd be brilliant too.

Of course it’s a ticking time bomb. As I’ve said many times before I’m amazed there has never been a serious crush

I’ve told the ambulance story on here more than once(too long to tell again) but it’s a good example of how dumb crowds can be

I love Doechii, only discovered her recently but loved the tiny desk and Grammys performances.  She’ll be amazing on WH.

Only problem is Brat + remix were my albums of the year last year and I have to see at least half of Charli .. I’m going to attempt a half time switcheroo.

    • They will have strictly 14 days to comply, at the end of which they will strictly have another 14 days to comply.
    • Bonobo has a new album out in September.  Touring the US the end of this year, so hopefully UK dates and festivals in 2027.  Would make a superb Park headliner.
    • I was following up to pink_triangle's post about what Reform are saying they will do to find money for defence spending.   But with Labour, they may well water down or delay some of the net zero commitments, they may find ways to cut welfare spending with Pat McFadden's welfare review thing, but I don't think it's going to be near enough. They really tied themselves down with the tax commitments in their manifesto, just reversing Hunt's NI cuts would have gone a long way. Under Burnham I think they may try and reform some of the tax system, land taxes and levies etc. Certainly needs reforming. But that might all be after a general election if Labour were to win.  I reckon they will try and do something with fiscal rules to borrow more, and try and persuade markets to go along with them.  (and he's already rowed back on that waspi thing...I think his team and others in Labour had a word).
    • Feels like Leeds getting axed is just a matter of time now, and to be honest, it might be the only way to save Reading. The whole twin-site format just feels proper dated and way too expensive to run nowadays. If they scrapped Leeds and focused entirely on Reading, turning it into a proper London-adjacent day-trip fest for the younger crowd like All Points East or Wireless, it would actually make sense financially. But yeah, for the old-school rock crowd, the R&L era is completely dead and buried.
