  1. would love it to be shown somewhere, only one in my group whos really into football but some others will hopefully tag along. I remember watching england play at Download festival years ago, the same year was sponsored by snickers and they were handing out snickers every where. festival organisers ended up essentially providing chocolate peanut missiles which are surprisingly painful to receive
  2. Hi everyone, I used to use e-festivals in my festival attending prime, used to double Leeds and Download every year in the 2000s. Switched to Glasto as I became older, wiser and more able to fund it all. Spending my days now refreshing the rumours list to inject some soul into my soulless job. Exciting to join a forum again, reminds me of my youth. See you all on site!
  3. Look what being kept in the dark is doing to the mushrooms. We're turning on each other, slinging mud to vent frustrations about Eavis keeping the lid on. We will look back on this in June and laugh about how impatient we were!
  4. Someone in our group brought a flag last year. First time we’ve had one. It was mint. Meant the wider group could converge in a spot together. Someone goes for a wee mid set? Not a problem, see you in 5 mins. Lots of people struggle with the idea of getting lost or separated from the group, this completely solves it. I’ve never really been a fan and wouldn’t want to carry it round myself all weekend, but banning them is ridiculous. Let’s be honest, the views generally shite anyway, people using the Elton John example a lot….He sat there for 3 hours, there’s nothing to see. Shut your eyes, dance and stop crying about flags.
  5. Been wanting to see Drogba at glasto for years, fingers crossed this time its true!
  6. Afternoon! Been to glasto a few times and always just used the public parking... this year we have booked a few slots at Ashcombe Farm, private parking close to the entry to orange camping. Has anyone used the place before? There are showers etc there for users of the parking, are they decent? any helpful tips or info would be greatly appreciated.
