Duran Duran would probably be better than at least one of the headliners tbh

Me on the jaw harp accompanied by Bertie my pet rooster would probably be better than at least one of the headliners

Have touched on this before but really do this Raye is definitely on their list and ready.

3rd down Pyramid Saturday last year, Pilton Party after. Leeds headliner this summer to set it up. Feel like it suits the criteria.

However what do I know? 🤣🤷‍♂️

My mock poster for 2027.

Yes that's a double Saturday headliner of Chappell Roan and Olivia Dean back to back, with Bruce headlining Sunday and Robbie in the legends slot.

Please tell me everything you love and hate.

Other stage headliners, if you're asking: Bring Me The Horizon, Chase and Status, Zara Larsson

Is West Holts coming separately in this vision?

We do actually have a separate stage predictions thread - for stuff like this might want to post it here

Was thinking the same myself.

Anyway, overall poor, with a shockingly bad selection of headliners

Hopefully there's nothing to it because, as I've said before, it would comfortably be the worst thing that could happen for the ticket situation.

The Mail is a wretched publication, but I always think with things like this... there's no smoke without fire?

Here's the article so you don't have to click on that dirty rag...

Taylor Swift 'almost nailed on' to headline Glastonbury Festival when it returns next year

Taylor Swift appeared to put on a one-woman fashion show as she donned an array of stylish outfits in New York last week.

But she might want to add a pair of wellies to her designer collection – as the pop phenomenon is being lined up to headline Glastonbury next year.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that music industry insiders say Ms Swift, 36, is 'almost nailed on' to play the Pyramid stage in 2027.

She has been on a break from performing since finishing her 149-date Eras world tour in December 2024.

'Taylor seems to be a dead cert,' says a source. 'Everything is aligning and it's all going ahead positively.'

It comes after bride-to-be Ms Swift enjoyed a meal at the New York restaurant Or'esh on Friday with her fiance, American football star Travis Kelce, pictured right. She wore a £290 floral dress by LA designer Doen.

It was the singer's fourth night out in the city that week.

On Thursday, she was seen leaving private membership club Zero Bond in a £900 peplum blouse by Stella McCartney. She teamed the shirt with a £3,500 Fendi micro handbag.

Two nights earlier, Ms Swift attended writer Lena Dunham's 40th birthday party at the Italian restaurant Via Carota, dressed in a £718 long-sleeve Retrofete mini-dress.

She accessorised with £770 Gucci sling-back heels and a Dior bucket bag, priced at £2,000.

And on Monday, the day after US Mother's Day, she went for dinner with her mum Andrea, dad Scott and brother Austin.

For the occasion, she wore a £3,900 crystal-embellished Valentino dress with a pair of £1,395 Louboutins.

Ms Swift's appearance at Glastonbury would be a major triumph for organiser Emily Eavis, who has been criticised for not having enough female performers in the festival's top slots.

The industry source added: 'For so many years there hasn't been a big, female headliner on the Pyramid stage and it is something that the organisers know is an issue. Taylor Swift would solve that problem.'

The 14-time Grammy Award winner was rumoured to have been on the line-up in 2024, as the festival was on at the same time as her UK Eras tour dates. But hopes were dashed when she instead added more concerts to her schedule.

The Shake It Off singer's trip to Worthy Farm is unlikely to result in her running into ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, with the possibility of his Glastonbury debut ruled out by music insiders.

Of course, Ms Swift will be Mrs Kelce by the time she arrives in Somerset. She is expected to marry NFL star Kelce in New York this July.

Obviously a source with their finger on the pulse given they missed Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and O-Rod all topping the bill in recent years.

Harry Styles x Oasis x Taylor

Some comeback year

True but I feel like that might be ambitious budget-wise and that at least one of these will be a step down the rung. At the very least, I'm still not convinced Oasis will do it.

Can't discuss how much the Daily Mail has it's finger on the pulse without shoe-horning in this gem

Imagine how different the world would be if this did happen tbf. This was around the time of the dot com bubble and people thinking cyberspace could well be a fad, and yet, here I am typing this message on the Internet.

At the very least I wouldn't be having to sift through what's real and what's AI generated horseshit on a daily basis.

Can we interest you in a headline set by the UK Eurovision performer that got all of one point last night instead?

it does feel like guesswork at this point. They aren't forced to have anyone fully locked down yet.

Even for that newspaper, though, it would very idiotic to get that stuff completely wrong i.e Styles plays, Swift doesn't.

What is the track record like for Newspapers going for it like this? Seem to recall The Sun being the worst for it (shock), but dunno if they're right with it more times than not, or what.

It's still mad early for this stuff.

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
