Hopefully a re-sale ticket will be as easy to pick up next year as it was this year.

I checked out of interest about a week before this year's festival and there were quite a few going on Fanticks. Basically if you want to go you should almost certainly be able to get a ticket

Not sure it's about hitting - I had two windows open, one refreshing, one just letting the countdown do its thing. Both went straight in. Appreciate we've been lucky, but the overall stability of the platform does seem to be improved

Same, both just displayed Sold Out as soon as I saw the Ticket page. As mentioned, not too upset by it, there are always people looking to sell their tickets come August.

Genuinely gutted for those who have missed out, but it's mad how folk are blaming the process. Someone saying 'sort your site out', when the the site working so well is literally the reason she missed out.

Reckon they need to reduce the max tickets per purchase cap for next year, mind...

If you didn't get a ticket don't worry as it's honesty very very easy to get a ticket in the weeks running up to the festival.

That's true for adults but not so much for kids tickets. Need exactly the right combo being sold. and if you want infant ones obviously they never go on resale (as they're free)

I saw 'sold out' for settlement and weekend within 10 secs of 10:00 (had the radio on and heard the pips!).

I had my a couple of browsers open on my PC and one each on phone and ipad.  The browsers were opened at about 08:20.

Surely this does not sound right?

Feeling extra low as we had to sell our settlement tickets this year due to my wife breaking her ankle. Bugger!

I might not reasonably be able to do settlement that I've apparently bought- if ticketsellers can't amend will try and get normal weekend on resale and sell the settlement so watch this space haha!

Yes I plan to attempt resale - fairly familiar with how there were a few around having done the selling process for GM24.  With GM now being a guaranteed sell out each year I fear touts may be operating.

Confirmation email arrived. Bit weird it comes from seller ‘Robot’!
I wonder if the issues this year were due to people buying large numbers of tickets (20 seems too many) across different sections, leading tickets being held but not paid for, for too long. I’m not sure it can be touts or bots as they can’t be sold easily for profit which doesn’t make them that attractive. 🤷‍♂️

    • To be fair @Superscally barely mentions the running thing. Very quiet about it 😘
    • I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either
    • Selfish, but I've done the 2 days I'm there.. i'll try to do the rest through the day but might get beaten to it as it's editable....    https://clashfinder.com/s/ape2026/
    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
    • And all (or all but one) of the secret sets repeats though?
