Empire of the sun are gonna be at relovut stage, which means Papa Roach are before Charli on main stage and Kiss of Life before papa roach which is really weird combo

I also think Little Simz is going to be at Revolut, but let's wait for her solo announcement. She deserves better crowd than the Main Stage one

Just made a list of the main acts I want to see and they are about 70% female which, as someone who has grown up attending gigs by everyone from Oasis to Stone Roses and Rage Against the Machine to David Bowie, is going to make a nice change!

Would still have loved someone like NBT or Frank Turner to sing/shout along to though!

So... Riles is subheadliner? That's really weak

Day 1:  Little Simz/Papa Roach -> Charli XCX
Day 2: Nelly Furtado/Justice -> Shawn Mendes
Day 3: Michael Kiwanuka -> A$AP Rocky

Day 4: FKA Twigs -> Anyma

Day 5: Riles -> Post Malone

Day 6: Portugal. The Man -> Chappell Roan

For my part, I think Sziget 2025 starts strong, lulls in the middle, then finishes strong. The first two days and the final two days are really good. Loads of quality acts, with lots of new bands/sounds to discover. IMO the Fri-Sat is a real lull, nothing much there interests me. Which is just as well, I can only be there for Sunday and Monday.

I will see Papa Roach tomorrow in San Diego. They are a killer live band, but I agree with those who do not see how they fit into Day 1. Not sure how they are booked, but they are a really good live band, so who knows? Maybe they can even get through to the "Brats". If they play "Firestarter", they might get their attention. Interesting booking, to say the least. Charli has broad taste in music. Maybe she brings Jacoby Shaddix out in her set? Unlikely, but would be unique.

Justice's light show deserves a proper slot, too. Love their work, and not sure how they are booked with Mendes/Furtado. But then, festival bookings are sometimes geared to getting different kinds of music in front of new crowds, right? So maybe Papa Roach gets some new fans from the Brats, and Justice gets a lot of new fans from that day.

Very happy with TLDP and Portugal, The Man being booked before Chappell. That's going to make a great finish. See you all there!

I'd say thats such a fair evaluation. I'm coming from the UK on a 3 day pass for the first 3 days as I'm busy on the other days but I'm not sure I could justify the full pass right now but I am very jealous of the last few days, Chappell day especially TLDP, Portugal The Man, Chappell and The Blessed Madonna would be such good fun

Calling Charli xcx fans "brats" is so funny to me 💀

She's calling them "Charli's angels" 🤓🏻

Personally think it’s still a relatively weak undercard , it’s not awful but there’s room for improvement and it’s not enough to convince me.

admittedly , they’ve got 5 big sellers as headliners and TLDP & Little Sims Are great additions for the undercard but some of the days are looking incredibly thin.

On the Post Malone day, there is absolutely nothing for me there, which would put me off a 6 day pass. Similarly , on the Anyma day, FKA twigs and elderbrook are the only names which I even recognise .

there are some really strong names on this years festival , but the Wednesday , Thursday and Monday are considerably stronger with 3 much weaker days in the middle.

also given they have confirmed headliners and subs are complete and they have more dance & theatre to announce, it would imply no more larger bands or singers.

I guess it’s stronger than last year on the whole but that’s down to a strong set of headliners and not the undercard .

Checked out all the names and have to say i’m really positive. There’s some really good names there!

But i can’t help but feel like i’m missing some “wow-factor”

Friday and Saturday are definitely missing more than "wow factor" lol.. really weak days 😓..

On the other hand, Wednesday is ... 😍🤩 !!

Definition of a festival that would look miles better as 3 or 4 day festival rather than a 6.

The fact it's 6 days is what draws people to it, certainly me. My 2 faves are Roskilde(warm up days) and Sziget, 2 long festivals.

Find the 3/4 day festivals, much more manic and Sziget is so much more of a chilled experience.
