Theres gonna be a new bridge? Where?

Waterfront City (Óbuda) - Óbuda Island.
It will be a bridge for walking + bikes only.
They won't start building it until 2027-2028.
It was pretty much promised to the posh people who move into that residental park, and now it's been officially confirmed.
I don't think it's going to play a big role for Sziget, this is definitely not going to be any kind of entrance for the festival (this is that area):

The new stage discussion went quiet. Do you think we can get something similar to the Coachella stage? It’s looking pretty cool!

No. It seems that The Club will be the smallest one in Delta District so I don't think we can expect anything on that level.

I’m a bit tipsy and reminiscing about the good old times. How bloody amazing that 2020 lineup would have been!

Nothing beats 2019 imho.

In 2025 there are maybe only two acts I REALLY can't wait to see: Charli and Justice.

BUT, I have a list of around 30 that I'm looking forward to trying out - which is probably the most of any edition I've attended so far.

2019 was so stacked.

was the only year I’ve gone but I’m glad it was for that year. Saw Florence & the machine, foo fighter, 21P, Macklemore, Tove lo, Chrvches, Jungle, Parcels and so many more all on the same week.

The other years which stood out to me were 2015 and 2016 - mainly because of Sia (I know it was considered otherwise as a weak year)

Just seen the Sziget post saying Sevdaliza playing main stage on the Saturday (as sub I assume).

Guess that means FKA Twigs will play after Anyma in the tent?

Both were confirmed to play main stage a while ago.

I guess Twigs is subbing and Sevdaliza in the slot before.

Ah, I must have missed that.

Which of the remaining acts announced for the Saturday is big enough to headline the tent then? Adriatique?

Adriatique are part of the Delta District lineup so most likely will play in Party Arena. I think Elefant / RY X / Elderbrook will be the main names that will close Revolut on that day…

I wouldn't say it was stacked, perhaps the last lineup that was decent though.

The only headliner I saw was The National, saw about 15 minutes from Florence but she was awful for me. By far the worst I've seen her.

A38 was great that year, Xavier Rudd up there with my all time fave sets.

What a storm on the last night though.

I'm sure there will be new names added, even if they state no. No starting Time for the headliners, inappropriate proportions for each day. God listen to me and release last phase.

There will be new names. But unlikely if any of them will be playing main or Revolut stages. They will be playing smaller stages, so will be smaller names.

Anyma day has sold out of Early Bird, ASAP Rocky day is the only one yet to sell Early Bird out

Neither day has much strength in depth tbh. I can see the Friday being pretty quiet unless A$AP suddenly releases (successful) new material in the next three months.

Last year we got the full lineup on the 4th of june. Is Sziget a bit later this year?

If they have this new new delta district and less festivalspace, does that means that they cancel another Stage?

Do we have artists for the europeatage already?

Happy eastern🐣

There were reports saying that there'll be no world music stage this year.

I think some of the already announced acts will play the Europe stage/buzz, but I don't think it's the full lineup yet.

    • They'll get Foo Fighters as well.
    • That as a surprise along with The Cure is the best part of the lineup so far.   Probably means though she's about next year again.
    • I also dont think Deftones will tour next year.   But I think RIP will have both Foos and Blink and if SOAD fo festivals that will be your 3.
    • Bearing in mind the Maiden point could just be nothing. They should also get Sabaton on second bit if i was them with their stage show I wouldn't take it. It would have to be headline due to how Download program and they won't
    • Nothing wrong about the lineup, which has been great over the last few years. But it just doesn't balance out my experience anymore.   Also, there seems to be a shift in the festival to cater towards US clients? This year felt like a 'cool' version of Coachella for some reason but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.   Maybe I'm just getting old.    Many locals get in for free either via friends of the organisation or just plainly using the QR codes multiple times. I had a chat with many of them over the weekend. They told me it is a 'thing' among locals. You just don't pay Primavera Sound
