watching the people on reddit just discovering that dynamic pricing is a thing is incredible.

im still shocked that theyre really gonna make these dates take this long and then add dates. If they could actually add the other dates it would make those queues not as bad and sell fast and you move traffic

There's people on my socials who haven't been to a gig in a few years, let alone a gig of this size who are trying for tickets, just because they want to 'be there'. Its not surprising people who don't go to gigs regularly dont' know about it.

Surely if you are See tickets, it would be less of a PR disaster to let ticketmaster take the full allocation and handle the Oasis sale exclusively, than seemingly have a tiny number of tickets and look comparatively inept as no one gets through on your site all morning and ends up having to resort to TM anyway?

Not really how it works. It’s all contractual and to do with who gets the £ from fees. Once they get the servers working then the tickets will inevitably sell. While annoying, if anything it’ll reward the fans who are most persistent

    • 2 really good albums IMO. Fun, really good musicians, energetic, can dance to it.    I'd take that over the couple of dozen twee ernest singer songwriter 2 chord dross acts on the bill most years.
    • They will have strictly 14 days to comply, at the end of which they will strictly have another 14 days to comply.
    • Bonobo has a new album out in September.  Touring the US the end of this year, so hopefully UK dates and festivals in 2027.  Would make a superb Park headliner.
    • I was following up to pink_triangle's post about what Reform are saying they will do to find money for defence spending.   But with Labour, they may well water down or delay some of the net zero commitments, they may find ways to cut welfare spending with Pat McFadden's welfare review thing, but I don't think it's going to be near enough. They really tied themselves down with the tax commitments in their manifesto, just reversing Hunt's NI cuts would have gone a long way. Under Burnham I think they may try and reform some of the tax system, land taxes and levies etc. Certainly needs reforming. But that might all be after a general election if Labour were to win.  I reckon they will try and do something with fiscal rules to borrow more, and try and persuade markets to go along with them.  (and he's already rowed back on that waspi thing...I think his team and others in Labour had a word).
