You just need to chill a bit dude . You are the only reason i have turned off notifications for this tread

Person comes on forum and talks about festival…. Those crazy people. Imagine being enthusiastic about something and being shot down for it.  😂.  Nobody would post for days if it wasn’t for me and a couple of others.

Rock Werchter 2025 thread has more than 700 replies 8 months prior to the festival. I don't think that "nobody would post for days here" if you wouldn't be here.

😂😂😂, so true

Funny thing is, 1/4 will be me and now another 1/4 will be about me

Funny thing is 709 posts as quoted is about 3 per day.  Wow, how does everyone keep up?!

Anyway…. A few more new names about.  (Sorry for doing 2 posts in a row).  Fall Out Boy would be good and KOL are never too bad if they play the good stuff

If KOL are starting to accept non-headliner festival slots I'm all in to see them as a Barn headliner.

Chances of Nick Cave being announced this week for Werchter and Roskilde?

European tour finishing On Thursday. Depends if he is doing early or late summer festivals, very surprised he hasn't been announced for primavera.

Ireland and France are both in the EU.

UK is also part of Europe

I was a little surprised to see them accept a sub role tbf. But yeah maybe that's just their level now.

Maybe they're still in the mix for a secret set at Glastonbury. And tbf they do now seem to be having more fun playing live than they did at their peak judging by seeing them in Leeds a few months ago.

Also doing another American one below Kasey Musgraves

How about under both Fred and Olivia.

Why does Halloween make a difference?

Just because people could be more focus on their costum and parties on 31th. But Halloween has way less success in Belgium for the last few years so maybe Live Nation doesn't care. But it was an idea.

You think Rock Werchter might not announce on Halloween morning at 8am because the kids at 6pm need to be ready to go trick or treating? That's probably the weirdest one I've heard yet.

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
