She's headlining R&L but subbing Glasto

If she was *actually* headlining R&L, they wouldn't allow her to play Glastonbury.

She's subbing, they can pretend otherwise but we should be better than that.

She's an 'english headline exclusive' which suggests she is playing another english festival not headlining.

She could be doing R1 Big weekend? this could be in Wales/Scotland/NI. Doesn't rule out Glasto, but could explain the "english headline sub"

It's marketing of course but she's a headliner in R&L terms but yes I imagine she will play before Hozier. Same as their 6 headliner thing from the last few years, essentially 3 heads and 3 subs but they still call it 6 headliners.

Semantics anyway, I don't care about R&L but if she plays Glasto I will be ecstatic. Lineup is shaping up to be an all timer.

suppose so, but fairly confident she's subbing Olivia at glasto - that info has been around for a few weeks from a couple people

I hope so! i'm thinking it'll be either Sabrina or Chappell but not both surely?? if it is then Emily has done very well with sub bookings this year.

Itd be a bit sh*tty of Oasis to announce a reunion, sell a billion tickets for it, explicitly say theyre not doing festivals, and then their first set together being on a televised festival stage. with a crowd that would be at best 50% thrilled, and 50% walking off to see something else. Cant see it, it knacks up their own gigs.

Chappell Roan the only one of those bill-toppers at R+L we'll see here. Pyramid sub info seems straight enough.

Hopefully. I'm in Thailand during Leeds fest and was gutted that i'd have to miss her. I imagine she will be even more popular by June, unless she keeps pissing off her fans.

And they are clearly doing the reunion for monetary reasons and Glastonbury would pay them f**k all

They might do the G in 2027 if the reunion lasts long enough. But not this time.

Thank f**k for the fallow year, meaning that they'll have imploded again by the time there's a slot available.

Carpenter at BST then, means she'll be this side of the pond near Glasto. I imagine she's very likely appear over the weekend. Placement will be interesting, 2 people playing BST this year, one will headline and other wont... Providing O-Rod info is true.

For it to be an all-timer , your headliners need to be on point. The 1975, O-Rod and Neil Young are not on point as a collective (or individually) for that that matter.

    • as if by magic... (but don't tell anyone that it isn't that easy to just cut welfare and that maybe taxes will have to go up)
    • Lost my love of football years ago so I pay very little attention to it these days but I'm really enjoying Max Rushden's video diaries of his flat share with Barry Glenddening. I think Barry might kill him before the end of the tournament
