It wouldn’t be any more baffling than SZA. But it wouldn’t be sensible either. Their commercial peak was six or seven years ago already.

And even then the best they got at Glasto was either sub or Other headliner. So I'd assume they'd be back in one of those slots.

Any indication they're around next year?

Suspect I'd not watch if they did tbh.

Might be wrong but don’t think Sam Smith has played a set on the farm since being lumped with the ‘opposite Dolly’ slot in 2014. Don’t blame them if that was an insult that still lingers tbh.

Just that indulgent performance of Latch with Disclosure this year.

To me?

Some posts have been removed due to personal insults, this may have caused some confusion.

I’ve since learned the real reason why the insult was made

Interesting, wasn't aware there was such history.

Forgot as well tbf just how f**king massive a crowd Dolly drew when she was in the Sunday legend slot.

Oh. Let me say, if I have upset anyone unintentionally, I do apologise - it certainly was not meant to be so.

Linkin Park are headlining. Just got a text from a good source. Really surprised with that, could be looking at a SZA sized crowd.

Reliable source? I would definitely be there if they play. Please tell me instead of 1975

It was me that unintentionally upset someone. They gave a response which made absolutely no sense in context, including an unwarranted insult

which has been removed by the mod team as it broke  the forum rules .... mod team are happy to listen to any further discussion if you want to DM any of us .... but this thread is about headliners and most would like it to remain so . Thanks Skip

    • Do people want an arena experience though? Especially for sub par bands. Rather a band do more nights at an independent venue for more money than 1 big one.
    • Trump needs to justify his peace prize before first game in US kicks off.
    • Are we still expecting Anna Von Hausswolff?  I recall seeing recently that she'd cancelled some tour dates due to illness
    • Hey everyone! My friend and I are heading over from Sweden to Tramlines this summer. We had our eyes on a bunch of different festivals in the UK, but since most of them sold out before we even knew if we’d be able to make the trip, we finally settled on Tramlines. Why Tramlines, you might ask? Well, because we’re absolutely crazy about British music, and finding a festival like this (where you also don’t have to camp, a huge plus) made it impossible not to buy a ticket. The fact that I’ll also get to see The Enemy after beeing a fan for 19 years didn’t hurt either.   Since the app doesn’t work over here… is the Clashfinder schedule 100% accurate? What’s the venue like, and what does the map look like? Which sides of the stages are best to stand on? How long does it take to walk between stages? What are the prices usually for food and drinks? Is it easy to get to the festival from town? And is it easy to get back into town? Is it allowed to walk around with a beer anywhere in the venue, or are there those stupid fenced-off bar areas? As you can tell, I need all kinds of info, so please share your best tips and tricks to make this the best festival experience possible.  I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! 😃
