5 stages? Not sure there’s another outdoor venue in London that fits?

Belle and Sebastian are teasing an "exciting event". Could they do APE?

Looking at this, they could well be, and maybe one or two others off this billing.

The twitter post sounds more like a headline though, so maybe they're going to do a Scottish thing - maybe Kelvingrove, who have been announcing recently.

I meant are Belle and Sebastian big enough to headline ATP?

No. They did OnBlackheath in 2016 (25,000 capacity - was obviously not packed) so they certainly have a bigger profile in London than in Salt Like City, but I can't see that happening. Somerset House (3500 capacity) is more likely!

No, they were not selling out Academy venues last year. Could see them on the bill with Death Cab though, given the shared roster. You've got LCD and Jai Paul on there too, so would seem to be some type of booking connection with this US event and APE, i.e. possibly using the same channels.

Don't think Goldenvoice run Kilby. If you want an event to compare Just Like Heaven would be better.

Wasn't saying the same organisers, but possibly use the same 'agents' or whatever for bookings.

This will likely be the same place as last year no? Burgess Park if memory serves me correctly

Burgess Park isn't big enough for 5 stages!

I hope it is though cos it's just downt road for me

Has there been any mention of Death Cab/Postal Service being a UK exlusive for this or would we expect them to show up on other line-ups?

There hasn't. But I think it's safe to assume they won't be booked elsewhere. Nowhere else really fits other than maybe GM and EOTR and I can't see either of them going for them.

    • Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home. The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back. Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • Knocked Loose have been announced for Wacken, that's them at Bloodstock as well   I think they'd headline over Malev
    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
