Barbra Streisand. Have we considered Barbra Streisand? One of those where I'm not sure they're Legends material, but can't think where else they would accept.

Didn't she say quite recently that she was now officially retired?

Watching BBC4 tonight.  Carole King.  Wow.  An epitome of a legend.  Not going to happen but I can dream can't I?

Indeed her Tapestry - Hyde Park set from 2016 is sublime. I really can't think of anyone more suited to the legend set.

Very few performances and I think more recently her energy has gone into a musical of her life

Suggested her a while back. Would be up there with Shirley Bassey.

Wasn't aware she'd retired.

Caribbean Queen most excellent.

Red Light Spells Danger one of my ten favourite songs as a kid.

RLSD is a truly great tune!!! Making me hum it at my desk now. I’m afraid I don’t share the love for CQ though, very average. Not convinced there’s enough in a Billy Ocean set to stop me going for a lie down in the sun up behind the Park stage and just watch RLSD on iplayer when I get home.
