With the line up virtually out, but without stage times. I have tiered the acts I want to see so far, to see what clashes I get. Yes I know QOTSA & Reg Clash. If the Viagra Boys & the Hu do too, I'll be fuming....

Tier 1 (Must sees, if there is a clash - cry)

Elton John, QOTSA, Viagra Boys, The Hu

Tier 2 (Really want to see, I'll make an effort for)

Leftfield, Lizzo, DJ Yoda, Helena Hauff, Kolsch, K Klass, The War on Drugs, Candi Staton, VTSS

Tier 3 (want to see, but clashes take me away)

Kelis, Carl Cox, Black Box, Nova Twins, Holy Youth Movement, Texas, Working Mens Club, Guns n Roses, Young Fathers, Manics, Dreadzone, Manneskin, Rhythm of the 90s, Fatboy Slim, Los Bitchos, Elvana, Vintage Trouble, Cassetteboy, Dennis Ferrer, Alern8, Oh my god it's the church, Sedef Adasi, Midland, Marcel Dettmann.

Looking at it, there is plenty there to get my teeth into over the weekend. It's just a lack of must sees.

Are we pretty certain Fred again... and Young farthers are gonna clash? 😞

The Young Fathers positioning is an absolute nightmare. Along with QoTSA my only must sees.

Playing at Connect festival in August though (on the same day as Fred!) . So bizarrely, despite paying so much for a ticket, ill probably see my two must sees at other festivals later in the summer (QoTSA at Mad Cool).

Agreed - but that's a good thing, right?  Makes for a less stressful weekend.  I also have only a few must sees, but loads I would like to see.  So it's looking like I won't have too many horrible clashes, but I know my weekend will be stacked with lots of really good acts - perfect 😊

Tier 1 (Must sees, if there is a clash - cry)

CRJ, Elton John, Fred Again, Slowdive

Tier 2 (Really want to see, I'll make an effort for)

Texas, Caroline Polachek, Olivia Dean, Chvrches, Rina Sawayama, Maggie Rogers, Manic Street Preachers, Lizzo, The War on Drugs, Pale Waves

Tier 3 (want to see, but clashes take me away)

Cat Burns, Guns n Roses, C&TQ, The Big Moon, Lana Del Rey, Phoenix, The Lottery Winners, Wunderhorse, Weyes Blood, Royal Blood,  Arctic Monkeys, Prospa, Cassyette, Leftfield, Carl Cox, Black Box, Kolsch, K Klass, Working Mens Club, Sub Focus, Joesef, Laura Mvula, Blondie

Nice idea! Seems like a good way to help decide on clashes. Shows that this is a pretty perfect lineup for me too, with a few absolute must-sees, but most in the category that I'd really want to see but can afford to miss without being crushed.

That being said, my girlfriend's love of LDR will likely scupper my chances of seeing CATQ.

Tier 1
Carly Rae Jepsen, The Chicks, Pale Waves, Christine And The Queens

Tier 2
Lana Del Rey, Lil Nas X, Cat Stevens, CHVRCHES, Rina Sawayama, Caroline Polachek, Editors, Max Richter

Tier 3
Flo, Hot Chip, Fred Again, Sparks, Sudan Archives, Weyes Blood, Elvana, Jake Shears, Will Young, Crawlers, The Big Moon, CMAT, Cavetown, Young Fathers, Nova Twins

This actually doubles up as a great "who to see" for me.

Your T1 and T2 pretty much lines up with mine so now to delve into your T3 - no doubt you've inadvertently steered me towards some acts I'm going to like. Nice one!

I am going to have to be really strategic this year.  A lot of my Tier 1s this year are folks that I've seen before.  I go to a lot of shows, so this is no surprise, but I think this year I'll have to really make an effort to see more people that I haven't ever seen, or will likely not have the opportunity to see again.

For example, I LOVE sudan archives. but i've seen sudan archives 3 times this year alone. my heart says 'go again!' but my brain says 'take this opportunity to see something else'

I still have regret about seeing James Blake over Adele. I love James Blake. But I saw him at least ten times before that glasto performance, and I've seen him at least 5 times since.  But I've never seen Adele, nor am I keen to pay her ticket prices.  I am eagerly awaiting the clash finder

I get you. Same boat for me. My tier 1 is almost exclusively acts I’ve not seen before. Slowdive are 100% at the top as they don’t tour often and I missed them on their 2016 tour but will be gutted if they clash with BCNR or anyone else

I get it.

My question is thus; how many James Blake concert ticket prices would have cost one for Adele?

Are we talking 12.5 James Blakes for one Adele?!

lol probably! but those James Blake tickets were spent over time, so it doesn't count hahaha.  And close tickets Adele's vegas residency are over $500 USD.

But seeing someone you’ve seen 2,3,10 times before is completely different to seeing them at Glasto
