Had Lana not pulled out just before it was cancelled? Think she was already pulling dates around then if memory serves.

Ahhh the year that never happened. I remember the line up dropping and knowing right away that it was never actually going to happen and being pissed off. A decent line up where i'd actually have spent 3 nights at the Pyramid for once.

Yeah I remember the arena dates being canned, couldn't recall if that included GF. Lana doing NFR then Kendrick would have been an all timer. And could well have a future headliner or two in Sam Fender and (slight punt) Burna Boy as well. Absolutely cracked lineup.

danbailey80
Regarding the leaving subbing acts before similar headliners... I think a few watch the sub and then go to find their group/ mates to watch the headliner together further back. I've done this a few times. It’s just a shame everything they’ve released in the last fifteen years f**king sucks. If you're like me and loved the first couple of albums but then got lost, make sure you've tried Ghost Stories from, I think, 2014.

But from what I heard it was massive. Was 2/3 of the way back up on the hill. Was huge. 100k ish so just below the Elton/Stones level. Similar numbers to Kylie or Lionel or Stevie. Can't imagine many people turning up for Noel Gallagher but deciding they don't fancy Paul McCartney afterwards. Huge yeah. People headed off to get their dinner and then expected to get back to the same spot.

Between the 2017 secret slot and Brandon popping up with Elton, I do safely assume The Killers are in the mix for a Churnups-esque spot. The issue with Friday is now I look, its 4 days in a row and down from Glasgow. That doesn't stop a 3rd down Saturday slot though. The Killers, Pulp and Dua Lipa would be great. I don't see it being Sunday at all.

Yeah Sunday doesn’t feel right what with the legend slot that day too - if The Killers were third down then the Pyramid field would be absolutely rammed from the legend all the way through to the headliner and the rest of the site deserted. ghostdancer1
Has Stevie Wonder any 2024 gigs confirmed? As far as I can see, the last time he played a proper concert was 2019? His official website linked from twitter doesn't exist anymore, and the only other official-looking one I can find was last updated in 2015..... fraybentos1
So Stevie was mentioned on that podcast but at the same time Emily also said 2x female headliners did she not. Assuming Dua is one and Madonna was the other but she’s pulled out I don’t understand where Coldplay fit in to things?
