Everyone bigs up his Boiler Room set but are there key tracks or an essential album for the lad Again..... He seems pretty prolific.

The fact that he DIDN'T play Marea on that boiler room set speaks volumes. His biggest track and he didn't even need to drop it for a set that will go down as legendary.

Will 100% be headlining one of the stages next year, just a matter of which.

They’re doing an AV show in Bristol in April, at the venue run by the Shangri La people.

Got a link?

Not showing on their website. There's Brighton and London in April, but no Bristol.

Loyle Carner and Young Fathers must be in the running.  I'd also be surprised if Rosalia and Sudan Archives don't feature given they're active and around.  I know they usually try to get a legendary funk/soul/disco act in the running but I'm at a loss to think who may be eligible this year.  Smokey Robinson maybe?

Have they also chucked a kettle over a pub?

that was the opening ceremony to the crisp world cup aye

remarkable what happens when you get all the youthful vigour in one place and avoid banging heads over Guns N Roses every day

    • I think it happened a week ago. Btw, Ela Minus looks like a great addition for the opening free day now. Anyone been to this venue? Is there like a closed place or they just put an open air stage somewhere in the park?
    • I see the weekend tickets have sold out. When did that happen? I recall seeing that Friday day tickets had all gone but was surprised to see today that weekend ones had too.
    • I thought some time back that I could see Get Down Services getting a slot in Woodsies
    • Tickets on sale when I'm abroad (I'm assuming this sells out in minutes), and the actual dates could not be worse for me work-wise. Still going to try to get tickets, of course, but god damn!
    • I'm personally confident that Slipknot will be one of the headliners next year (no insider info just lines up with them likely releasing an album soon)    Then there's the headliner that's never played the festival before which the bookers have alluded to so that's one of Blink, Foos, NIN, Nickelback and possibly Pearl Jam or even Bon Jovi    The third band I also think will be a new headliner who are being bumped up so Deftones, Offspring, Paramore Etc.    I'd love Slipknot, Foos and Paramore but realistically i'd go with Slipknot, Blink and Deftones
