I wouldn't deal with them always got a dodgy vibe from them.

I always thought this too - the fact they are like a travel agent a bit always scared me off (doing lots of those type of flights included package events)

Today! Not gone out yet. Maybe thats a sign 🤔  or maybe its just that yesterday knocked everything off kilter.

Yeah sadly cant get a credit card due to being poor and divorced.

I have had plenty of money problems and paid all my stuff cash on my debit card. I got ripped off a few times so I got a prepay credit card for all my online stuff. Might be an idea

i reckon the temptation must be huge when you've got oodles of client cash but your own cashflow is tight.

Did anyone manage to get their BST ticket money back via Section 75 or Chargeback?

American Express denied it as payment was taken via a 3rd party (Stripe) and there is no appeal process - done me for 5 tickets worth which has a bit of a sting!

Particularly disgusting when you consider that AMEX are the sponsor of the event that's essentially defrauded people through a dodgey ticketing partner!

There was a bit of chat about this on the BST thread itself but I did get a refund from my bank via a section 75 request.

How were Stripe involved in the process for buying your tickets?

Thats appalling, i'd keep pressing them for it. Ombudsmen maybe? Not had experience with chargebacks myself but that is unacceptable - or at least BST might be able to give you tickets perhaps.

Stripe would be a payment provider, I would raise a formal complaint then if that didn't work take it to the finance ombudsman, is this a charge card or a credit card?
