SweepingTheNation
Big Thief are back in UK and Europe in April, which raises the possibility of them coming back at the end of summer.

Potentially yeah, also no Bristol date and they always seem to swing by Bristol (though the Cardiff date makes up for that I guess)

Yeah reckon there's a very good chance they're one of our 2023 headliners.
scatteredscreens
Yeah I really hope they play. Mainly because I'm also hoping for an Adrianne and Buck set around too. Also, given they did crows nest at glastonbury this year, I would lose my shit if one of them did a Piano stage set!

(The Friday also included Arrows Of Love, whose co-singer Nuha Ruby Ra I'm surprised hasn't played solo yet) That Julia Jacklin set hit me hard. Hearing "Don't let the kids win" for the first time, tent was reverential.
scatteredscreens
New Anna B Savage song out Wednesday. Would love for her to be back, she was one of my favourite sets in 2021.
Hooskerdoo
Sadly having to say goodbye to my trusty campervan. I found this while I was clearing it out to get it ready for sale. This was my fourth End of the Road, but the first in the van. Anybody else remember when tickets were a work of art in themselves? Bringing that back would be on my wishlist I reckon. And Bob Mould. Ah, the nostalgia of the ticket arriving in the EOTR envelope! If they can still produce a physical car park ticket...

Guy Incognito
Get Makaya McCraven booked again. New album is great. So nice to finally hear a studio version of In These Times after first hearing it at Le Guess Who? 2019.

Did it not that long ago (2016, I think), so unlikely I'd say, as they don't seem that keen on too many repeat headliners.

Ahhhh! I only started going last year, didn’t realise they’d already done it.

Built to Spill have a great new album and fit this bill too.
Justiceforcedave
Has Sharon Van Etten ever done it? A cursory Google suggests not, but she seems like the kind of artist that should have played at some point.

Sharon Van Etten / Pavement / Big Thief would be strong.

Why? EOTR have just had Pixies this year and they're arguably bigger. Pavement by September 2023 will have lost their reunion clout, they've barely even sold out their reunion UK dates. I don't think they're as massive a booking as people believe and EOTR/Green Man are probably in their ballpark in my eyes.
