Album is breaking records all about the shop..

Gonna be embarrassing for her when AM beat her in the charts. She should have moved her release date really.

maybe some people genuinely do think this is her best one….

Surely not 😫

Was hoping that a shorter than usual tracklist would mean she’d finally learnt to cut out the bum songs, but somehow it has still ended having her worst skips to bangers ratio since Fearless …

On a third listen, think Lavender Haze might be my least favourite on the main record itself. It just feels too anodyne, though glad plenty are vibing.

Plenty clearly are vibing too, if yesterday's singles chart flash is anything to go by - it's a complete 1-2-3 lockout for Swift, with Anti-HeroLavender Haze and Snow on the Beach (it does drive me a little barmy that streams-from-albums into the singles chart means it will nearly always be songs from the first flush of the record that do the business.)

Not horrendous business for The Car either. Arctic Monkeys also have their limit of three inside the top twenty. (I Ain't Quite Where I Think I Am, Sculptures of Anything Goes and There'd Better Be a Mirrorball at #14, #15 and #18 respectively.)

Swifties now going as far as to walk out of shops playing other songs to halt the radio numbers

That is embarrassing. A. that they think that's possible, and B. that they would do it 😂

I know swifties are insane but this is clearly a joke and i thought it was pretty funny.

On an unrelated note, I am going to need to remove my brain with an ice cream scoop to get Lavender Haze from repeating for all eternity.

I was hoping you were right but the same user later in the chain said they had 'mistaken radio wave detecting people with radio station'

Big fan of the album though and looks like it's going to smash records. Swifties currently trying to get the entire top 10 of the hot 100 to be from the album which would be a crazy feat.

They're completely insane. They should just relax and enjoy the record, what does chart position matter, it doesn't change the quality of the music.

It's not a competition.

Because to mental fan bases it is a competition and they put so much worth on all these random accolades. It's embarrassing but they exist for so many artists.
