Do tickets sell out prior to the rest of the lineup release and is it worth going if I can’t make the 10th?

You can wait for the rest, they normally don't sell out before the line up is complete.

Also, when they do sell out, there's a lot of tickets on safe websites like ticketswap, which is an official reseller partner of the festival.

Last year, one of my mates had a last minute decision that he can come to the festival for about 4 days from Denmark.
At that time, it was cheaper for him to buy a ticket for the whole week on ticketswap than buying for 3 days from the website.

And yeah it's absolutely worth coming even if you miss out on the first day. I don't know about you but I can't party for 6 days anyway, there were days when I was only out in the festival for a few hours this last time.

if we're looking at for instance the streaming numbers of Blur they're nowhere compared to other headliners

That's sure, but Blur have released only one record (probably their less successful) during the last 19 years and have not been touring during the last 9 years.
Also Pink Floyd have lower streaming number than Tame Impala, if this means something.
I'm not hyped at all by Blur reunion, but I know many persons who are. And who are buying tickets.

So Mimi Webb to replace Sam fender to sub..

😂🙈

So the lineup drop is "not bad" so far, but i'm affraid next ones arent going to be better and for most of us there won't be plenty of interesting known names added.

Only 4 head/sub missing, just imagine Macklemore and Major Lazer takes 2....There will be tons of electronic artist to fill all the electronic stages also.

2 headliners missing = One rock act + 1 big name. Must be it .

Macklemore can still come and sub anyone ;

Foals and Sam Fender the same day ? that would be a beautiful one ^^

From my egoistic point of view it is a fantastic first band release.

Sam Fender and Viagra Boys - two cancellations that really hurt this year. I was really pissed of when Fender cancelled just hours before he would play. So im glad they're back.

Billie Eilish - Discovered her in 2017 and been waiting since then to se her live. Holy shit.

Florence + the Machine - Not that into her music anymore but she is truly an amazing live performer.

YUNGBLUD - Just discovered him, and the music itself is far far away from what i usually like. But iv'e seen a couple of live videos on youtube and i really want to se that myself.

Jamie xx - Never seen him solo. Just with The xx, and if it is near as magical and electric as an The xx concert we are really in for a treat.

Amyl and the sniffers - Oh yes. This is gonna be sweaty.

M83 - When the sun has set and you are ready to be hypnotized.

Initial thoughts from an oldie.

Not so fussed about headliners generally, seen all the ones several times I wanted to see. I probably won't see any of the current headliners, eilish will be rammed.

More about the lineup and it does seem to be an improvement on 2022 already. Hopefully they don't bunch Foals, fender, Frank Carter all on one day.

What’s the likelihood of Green Day? That’ll push me over the edge getting my ticket.

I would say based off the current line up - still likely! They don’t have a ‘proper’ rock act. Closest they’ve got is Imagine Dragons and I would say Green Day would attract a different crowd to them.

Will just depend on touring etc, but by all accounts it’s still a very real possibility.

Are there any more headliners to confirm?

There should be 2 more, unless we get another big name to sub before headliner and we consider them also a "headliner" (like in 2019, The National and Macklemore or Foo Fighters and Twenty One Pilots on the same day, 7-day long festival and 9 headliners) idk if it's confusing

at least we get 1 more moving in day. 😄

Although they should put something on for the campers on the Wednesday night. Hungarian bands on the europe stage, tribute acts on and local dj's in the party arena.

Can anyone explain how the moving in ticket is gonna work now?

I got my Szitizen Prime ticket a couple of weeks ago, so now with the date change me and everyone who bought their ticket early will automatically get a moving in ticket for the 9th? & if so how can we get it

I'm totally lost haha

No chance

Oh that’s rubbish. The guy from R&L forum got Billie Eilish headlining before anyone knew she’d be touring in Europe in August 2023 and also named Green Day, Sam Fender, KSI and Foals as headliners so the fact 3/5 are at Sziget makes me live in hope for a Green Day announcement in Feb. They’ve got to play a few other festivals in August surely so hoping Sziget is one 😂

Rock headliner slot is still in negotiations with bands from the UK and the US as well. Can’t give you anything specific rn so don’t get your hopes up just yet.

Good to know Imagine Dragons aren't considered as rock headliner!

    • They are going to have Blink 182 for sure, early June upto around Werchter weekend I'd say for them. Two of Sweden Rock,  Greenfield and RFP are going to miss out.
    • I've come across a few this weekend saying Deftones aren't big enough for Download.   I would recommend b&b hotel hbf the night before....cheap, comfortable and very decent. Within 10 minutes from the station and a tram stop outside to jump on...all travel is free during the festival time as well with a kombi. Lidl is very good and cheap I can't lie....€6 for a chair with carey handle, €20 with a bag too...you can work that out yourself.   If you camp, get up at 5am and go to the queue....literally don't question it as now I know.     The travel wise part is easy when you get the hang of it and I've never had an easier exit from a festival today tbh. We were camped in the turn left section but past the registration and to get water you have to come right out.   Opening up an exit through he camp at least by Friday morning when everyobe is there would be much better but you csnt walk through general if you're green and sonon.   I think the issue for me probably too is I have never taken like a mutliple litre water too, I've always done a 6 pack water from like poundland lol but you definitely need it. I had one shower that was cold lol   Talking of getting into the front, Volbeat was the only easy one, for Maiden and especially Linkin Park if you weren't in the queue for it by at least the last quarter ot Architects you had no hope....it was shocking. I do like orbit to sit down. I had to decide to sack off Within Temptation too or no chance.   Second stage biggest gripe is the faff of walking all the way round when VIP or whatever it is literally get access to each bit. I did read tbh before going people though RIP/Ring was turning too much the wrong way.   Also as a side note, caught some of Limp Bizkit last night too and they are not headliner but any distance at all. Yes they pull a crowd...they would do with LP finished but on the grand scale its a super weak booking. Stop, start for video recordings all the way through a headline set?, 1hr 15 minutes and you can't play for that time. I'm so glad they were not chosen to headline main.   On another thing, if RIP played it right they'll get GC and Avril to sub/second stage headline on the Blink day.   Toilets and cleanliness is a big plus I will say that.
    • Any of the likes of Keo, Basht. and Cardinals could all fit in here.  Although they’re the sort of bands that could fit many of the stages at Glastonbury
