I'd actually be stoked to have Skindred there tbh they're always fun, I can't really think of any other thing a helicopter clue could be other than them and Bloc Party

unless the clue is like, buildings? skyline? cities? City And Colour not big enough surely?

Based on the photo of the helicopter they tweeted and based on nothing, Trees and ATG are very good at hiding clues

Good Charlotte- Lifestyles of the rich and the famous video.

Empire State Bastard- Vennart and biffys side project, the empire state building in the background

It's a helicopter in new york.

New York helicopter sounds very similar to Newport helicopter.

I'm convinced it's Skindred.

I'm very confused why we are still missing two headliners. This line up is good but it doesn't have many big ticket shifters. Trees has a solid base of regular attendees but can't see many people being pulled in by this line up, especially this latest announcement has nothing that going to pull in numbers. Are they struggling to book headliners?

100% recommended Origami Angel if you like Price Daddy and Press to Meco.

Me and other Trees goers are really pleased with this and that's mainly due to the undercard. I reckon they'll have no trouble selling this line up. Headliners are probably being held back due to tours.

Any suggestions of who is on tour at the moment that could be candidates to headline this?

Surprised some of the aforementioned acts like Pup and City and Colour that are around in Europe at the right time aren't playing this (or at least, haven't been announced yet...)

I'm also happy with the line up, there's certainly a dozen or more bands I want to see and plenty more I've heard good things about that I now have some incentive to explore more. I think for trees core audience its a good undercard, from a pure business stance however they need to sell tickets beyond those that return every year. I don't think this line up does that, I may be wrong. The other headliner announcements could be tied up by contracts etc but its odd they haven't touched on it at all.

Frank turner is out on tour this week so more convinced than ever he's one and it can't be announced til tours done. it is odd they haven't even mentioned headliners though

These suggestions, plus Frank Turner above, feel a bit repetitive and slightly stale to me. I know that's a classic criticism of Trees, and don't want to disrespect them as I really admire them being independent and have had a great time the three years I've been. Can't help but feel like a bit more of a curveball or exclusive near the top of the bill would make a big difference here (still got my fingers crossed for The Gaslight Anthem!).

Also I'm less familiar with the undercard, and the website doesn't seem to have its "For Fans Of" links in place as part of the line-up page like it usually does. If anyone could recommend anything that's more on the Gaslight Anthem, City and Colour, Basement, Muncie Girls, side of things I'd really appreciate it!
