Any sign of cheap tickets for The Strokes day at APE?

Don’t think there’ll be any to be honest.

There were a couple of competitions but most of the tickets were won by people from Disco Rd after our lot discovered a way to exploit it.

For those who play the Ladbrokes ticket give away games. Tickets for Courteeners at Earth available. First 100 win tickets and I just got a pair. It has a counter of how many have gone currently at 48. So you should be in with a chance if quick.

Anyone else had issues claiming tickets on the Ladbrokes thing? Keeps telling me I have an invalid code?

I'm having the exact same problem. Can't work out what i'm meant to be doing.

Could it be that the codes no longer work as all the 100 pairs of tickets have been claimed? They may have issued more codes than tickets and its first come first served. Maybe after they reach 100 any outstanding codes are invalid?

The tickets I won were for Muse, which I don't think operated in the same way that The Courteeners did.

Same for Muse. At 10am yesterday support asked for screenshots which I gave them within 5 mins and I'm still waiting for a response

    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
