doogie
Here are the latest ensembles, which indicate that even though there is the chance of some rain on any day (particularly today), a problematic deluge between now and Sunday night is off the cards.
Glasto Weatherwatch
FFS - Met Office has just issued a Yellow Warning for Thunderstorms in South West today. Really need our luck to hold.

Dave_c
Ima simple man with weather and the met office app looks splendid apart from a chance of rain today. It said 80% chance of heavy rain at 9 that never materialised, so it could stay dry.
Glasto Weatherwatch
Essentially, highly localized, thundery downpours are spreading across South West today. The locations are almost impossible to predict as they 'bubble up' rather than approaching like a front. There is a slim chance that a particularly heavy downpour could hit the site; there's higher chance we'll just get a short period of rain / stay entirely dry. It's a crapshoot. In 2022 and 2017 we got very lucky (hence lots of chat about 'forcefields'), in the previous years we've been super unlucky (2015, 2014, 2009). With ground in good nick worst case it should be recoverable, but might make things muddy today. Let's see! Met Office had thunder warnings in place last two festivals at times and we got nowt. st dan
As always, it goes to show how utterly pointless weather forecasts are two weeks out when it can still change hours before! However saying that these threads are always great fun and part of the anticipation.
kalifire
It tried to rain on the hill but that cloud is passing over with blue skies behind it. The force field is in operation.

Pinhead
Localised convection / evaporation rainfall on a largely windless day very difficult to predict I'm told.

briddj
Here it is then, your final weather run of the 2023 festival! The dirty 06Z! WEDNESDAY From the possibility of light rain, there is now a thunderstorm warning for the area from 12-9pm. The site is just on the edge of this. With a bit of luck we'll get none or just a small one. But it would still take a lot to affect the site long-term with the temperatures we will enjoy. Max temps of 20-21. Overnight temps into Thursday: 13 THURSDAY Completely dry, highs of 22. Overnight temps into Friday: 13-14 FRIDAY Completely dry, highs of 21. Overnight temps into Saturday: 14-15 SATURDAY Completely dry, highs of 23-25. Overnight temps into Sunday: 14-15 SUNDAY Light rain pushing in for the afternoon - the GFS is continuing to double down on this theme with a warm front pushing across the UK as the low tries to edge us. The heavy rain continues to track through northern England, but it's too close for comfort 4 days out. KNIFE EDGE. Highs of 23-24, dropping right down to 18 for Elton. It also makes it the coolest overnight temps after the front has swept across. Overnight temps into Monday: 11-13 MONDAY MORNING FOR DEPARTURE Completely dry at 9am, temps of 16-17. The low is already being repelled. It literally pokes in just for Sunday afternoon/evening! The little bastard. SUMMARY! Similar picture really. All we need is that low to edge away for a few more hours on Sunday, but the GFS is adamant that it's going to have an influence and bring in rain. Fingers crossed, and see you all on site soon!
