ive decided on the walking shoes option. Good soles for the rocky paths, waterproof and comfy to wear

I'm an avid walking shoes promoter but it's so dry here at the minute I'm going for trainers tomorrow instead

9.45pm Front of Gate D queue

Heavy rain passed through but stopped around 30 minutes ago. Really pleasant late evening now.

Sudden increase - times 3 or so - increase in the queue, from 1 zig to 2.5 zigs. Those who expected 9pm car park opening now starting to trickle in, looking surprised that there are people who've been here since 4.30pm

😁😁😁

Hello there everyone in the queue! Let's see what's coming up for the morning, and through the festival on the 18Z.

TWO MORE TO GO AFTER THIS!

WEDNESDAY

Overnight you might experience a bit of mist, but it's dry through to gates open with temps of 19.

Still showing the possibility of some very, very, very light showers in the PM - but nothing of note whatsoever. Highs of 21.

Overnight temps into Thursday: 13-14

SATURDAY

Overnight temps into Sunday: 15-18

SUNDAY

Completely dry but with a very real threat of rain close by, highs of 25.

Temps through Elton are still up at 18-19.

Overnight temps into Monday: 13-14

SUMMARY!

This is an upgrade on the 12Z, with Sunday temps 4 degrees higher at 25. But there really still is uncertainty about what the low is going to do exactly on Sunday. We probably won't even be sure when my last update comes at 11am on Wednesday.

This is how close we are to Elton being a washout right now.... but the odds are still massively in our favour.
